I LUV THIS GAME YES YES YES EYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always wanted to learn to play this game and this has been a great introduction to the game. I like that you get to choose a starting deck from a decent selection, but you are not locked with that deck for the rest of the game as you can choose a different deck right away. Most games so far last around 10 turns or so, with some going past that when you and your opponent are able to find a way to barely survive by drawing the right card at the right time, making an exciting back and forth experience. It's been a lot of fun, and I'm excited to play more. At the time of writing this I've only played the story mode. I am aware there is a second game, but I'm not aware of the differences. As many have mentioned, $70 always put me off from purchasing, especially when there is DLC for additional cost. I would have been fine with purchasing it for half that or would understand if $70 was for the base game and DLC. When on sale, it's definitely worth the purchase (especially for $5)!
Dear Days is the best option if you want to play normal Vanguard rules online. Complex phase transitions, triggers, shield calculations, and twin drives are all expertly automated. Veteran players can accurately test high-level deck builds thanks to the user-friendly automated UI, which prevents rule misinterpretations. Dear Days' entry hurdle is its most obvious flaw. An already specialized multiplayer community was badly divided by the unavailability of cross-play between the PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch versions. Finding a Ranked or Casual online match can have excruciatingly long wait times, depending on your location and the time of day. Players are frequently forced to rely on other Discord communities in order to locate a match.
