Candleman: The Complete Journey

Great puzzle plataformer with a nice message, very solid gameplay and difficulty on point (not too easy nor too frustrating), except for a couple of very hidden candles to find.

Really, really loved the concept for this one! Having to navigate dark levels with your flame but having to balance not using too much that it kills you. The levels are well designed, with each area adding in new mechanics to keep things fresh and interesting! The story is really good too with some beautiful standout moments and a great ost to back it up! All in all an underrated little gem of a game!

This is a wonderful little game. The audio and visuals were very nice. The gameplay was creative with a mix of platforming and puzzles. There were a few frustrating aspects, but for the most part it was a relaxing experience with some slight challenges.

I really enjoyed this puzzle platformer, colours look incredible on an OLED screen. The overall concept is pretty simple but some parts can become pretty difficult. I struggled a bit with the checkpoint candles, it's a shame if you have low wax when you get there - you have low wax when you return upon dying which often makes a level difficult to complete. Overall great fun, give it a go if you haven't already.

Thumbs way up for this stellar game of navigation through a myriad of exquisite artwork scenery...caves, swamps, warehouse, lighthouse, inside the belly of a ship, etc. all with challenging but doable platformer mechanics. It is divided up into bitesize segments for convenient save points and the fairy tale story is well done, to boot. This game also gives new meaning to the phrase, "Flick my Bic" (look it up) in collecting the candlelighting achievements....did I get them all?...heck no but it was fun trying. I've played over 150 games and this one is in the top 2 (Little Nightmares 2 ranks #1).

O eso quiero pensar. 🕯️ Es un plataformero que juega con perspectivas (espejos, visión de pájaro o lateral, etc.). 🕯️ Muy bonitos gráficos. 🕯️ Tiene cromos y logros en Steam, también autoadhesivos en la tienda de puntos. 🕯️ Como reto añadido, tienes que encender velitas para completar los versos de cada capítulo. 🕯️ Si pierdes en algún punto del capítulo (tienes diez vidas por escenario), las velas seguirán encendidas. Si pierdes todas tus vidas, tendrás que encenderlas todas. 🕯️ Es de controles fáciles, puedes usar teclado o mando. Solo tienes que moverte, saltar y encender velas. 🕯️ Tiene dos tipos de juegos: el principal y el de carrera (speedrun), este último se desbloquea después de pasar el juego principal. 🕯️ Se puede comprar la pista musical en la tienda. ⚫ No tiene mucha música, la que tiene es muy cortita pero buena. ⚫ Es bastante lineal. ⚫ A causa del juego de perspectivas, puede ser complicado progresar en los niveles. ⚫ El juego es cortito (doce capítulos principales), en un todo, pasé el juego principal en menos de ocho horas.
