There's a possibly really good game under here, but it's not really playable yet. The biggest issue is that the camera moves around so fast it made me nauseous, with no option to slow it down. There's a lot of other QOL features it desperately needs, I hope QOL is a priority for this developer or this game is never going to enjoy a very wide audience. I'm looking forward to being able to change this review to a recommend in a few months, I'll be checking now and then (rather than refunding).
This might eventually become a game, maybe even a good one, but so far it is barely a tech demo. IMHO this not suitable for publishing yet, not even as Early Access, and certainly not for the price they ask. I intend to keep it though and will try to update if I see significant changes.
way to little content yet... refunded and will keep an eye on it... as it is now i can not recommend it.. ill change to tumb up -down the line when it have some more content.. ps .. this is a tiny 200mb game or something.. so way to expensive game compare to other games..
As is this is more of a concept art than a game, can't recommend in current state.
Played it for two hours straight. This is game in developement with a good atmosphere and relaxing music to just turn of your head and mindlessly farm, gather ressources and expand your base. A wonderful idea to get a top down building mode for your base, so that you dont have to worry about where to place anything and not finding your stuff or an important production line, because it is all there and connected with one another. maybe it is possible to implement a tablet or whatever for the lategame to access the building mode a little bit faster, so that you can open it in your base from any point. would make it way more comfortable and intuitive. The only big issue right now is the lack of content, production line and real goal you have to achieve in this game. Which will be implemented soon. and right now iam feeling a bit lonely in this world, but a look at the roadmap revealed that this feeling will go away soon, because we get animals and later pets to accompany us. I think a bear like creature with a legendary beard would fit right into it. ;) but overall a game with a lot of potential to become a go to game to just relax and zone out. I bet it is worthy to look up to every update that comes out to improve this little project. Keep it going and dont stop believin' Hold on to that feelin'
Its not perfect but the idea is, it just needs time. To the Devs, keep up the good work.
This game has great potential to be a fun and chill game. Can't wait to see more content and what ideas the devs have with this game.
Load into game, go into the menu. Barely any settings. Change resolution to make sure I had the right one, click apply. Confirmation screen remains after clicking OK. Spend a couple of minutes clicking around until the X in the corner closes the menu and sends me back to main menu. Load into a new world, start looking around.... game feels extremely choppy when turning. Lots of pop in at a distance, grass is a different shade of green every few steps, looks like it's just coloured in a grid with a weird grading. Continue to try and find Iron ore and Copper ore. There is only lithium, lithium, stone, stone, and a little bit of coal. Run around for about 5 minutes in an outwards spiral. No copper or Iron, barely any ore deposits in the ground, but the grass is so large, a lot of deposits are hard to spot to begin with. Find a pillar puzzle, do it, get no feedback on any rewards. spending 5 minutes because the menu is bugged, and 5 minutes trying to find basic starter resources, all while feeling like I was playing a game on a server on another continent, with the choppy turning. There is a basic lack of understanding of game designs, and should not even be in early access. Feels like "My First Game Project" for someone who is learning to code, and decided to put it on steam, to earn money on it.
Of course it´s not perfect yet but you can already see the idea and the potential in it. Apart from a few bugs, it´s a good game to relax. I definitely enjoyed it so far and I´m excited to see what else is to come! And I´m already in love with M.A.R.S.!!! <3
