It presents World War II with a level of brutality and seriousness that makes it stand out from the rest of the franchise. The multiplayer balance, dated graphics, and grenade-heavy campaign difficulty hold it back slightly. Despite those problems, it remains one of the darkest, most memorable, and most important Call of Duty games ever released.
Can't play online because the activation key to create an online profile does not work, 17 year old game, released in 2008, now in 2026 and this is still a problem, what a waste of $20, a steal and a scam >:(

Ich erinnere mich, ich habe dieses Spiel sehr jung gespielt und jetzt wo ich fast 30 bin, bin ich sehr überrascht, dass die Grafik, immer noch so gut ist.
Неймовірна частина. Кампанія тут просто чудова - сюжетно вона зовсім не застаріла, а з часом навіть стала ще сильнішою стороною гри. Щодо ґеймплею є певні зауваження. Так, він відчувається трохи застарілим, але гра все одно залишається цілком іграбельною і грається досить добре. Приємно здивувала можливість проходити кампанію в кооперативі. Таке зустрінеш нечасто, особливо в серії COD. Останній справді сильний кооп (не зомбі) в серії був хіба що в Black Ops 3. Окремо варто згадати неймовірний зомбі-режим. Хоча він ще не такий розвинутий, як у пізніших частинах (з купою пасхалок і власною сюжеткою), саме тут відбулося справжнє зародження найкращого кооперативного зомбі-режиму в історії ігор. Музика теж сильна сторона - вона чудово передає жорстокість війни, хоча іноді може різко пропадати. На жаль, мультиплеєр зараз нормально зіграти неможливо, тому я його просто ігнорую. Ні через Plutonium(через низький онлайн), ні через офіційні сервери нормальної гри вже не вийде - навряд чи там хтось грає. Особливо хочу подякувати Valve за те, що досі тримають мультиплеєрні частини ігор, за які вам можуть знести ОС - найбезпечніша платформа. І окремо дякую Activision за те, що досі не виправили це - найвідповідальніші видавці сучасності.
