Call of Duty: World at War

One of my favorite games of all time. Great story, characters, and I love the WWII theme.

haven't played the multiplayer part because a little bird told me that it was full of hackers, But the Campaign is pretty solid i played it on the hardest difficulty + you also play Nazi zombies once your finished

still best ww2 story with modernish playstyle

This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GREAT! -Gets killed a bunch of random times -Gets to fly in a PBY-5 Catalina -Gets to mow down a bunch of imperialist Japanese soldiers with a M1919 Browning 50 Cal. -Gets to experience war crimes 10/10 would get PTSD again!

This game is meh. The story is both fantastic, and then a giant pile of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. While playing as the Americans, you play as Private Miller; a forgettable character with the worst squad imaginable. While playing as Miller, instead of feeling like being part of your squad, you feel more like the new guy who does everything. Your sargeant is a whiny coward who only sends you in to do everything. I know most COD games follow the same dynamic, but when it occurs in this game, it just becomes infuriating. Meanwhile while playing as the Russians, the story is far more interesting and gritty, with a more closer connection to your sargeant that develops with the story. I dont know why the writers ♥♥♥♥ the bed on the american side of the story so bad, but its just dissapointing.
