Call of Duty®: Black Ops 7

Black Ops 7 is honestly a really great game. The graphics look amazing and everything runs smoothly without any errors or bugs, which is rare these days. I’ve been enjoying it a lot so far, the gameplay feels solid and polished. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had recently. Highly recommend it !

This is the best Call of Duty in almost a decade. The movement feels amazing with wall jumping and omni-movement being fun additions, although, if you want simpler movement there is also a playlist with more classic movement. The Zombies is enjoyable but has a few bad parts. The matchmaking is also great compared to other recent Cod's and it doesn't try to optimize your engagement or playtime or whatever, and just lets you have fun. It also removed the terrible 'feature' of lobbies disbanding after every match that was added in a recent CoD. The only truly bad parts of this game are the ai calling cards and the campaign which is utterly terrible and the worst campaign ever. It is impossible for the campaign to have happened how it did with Karma being alive despite Harper also being alive and it just shows a lack of respect for Black Ops 2. Activision needs to let Treyarch develop their own in-house campaigns and I hope the backlash makes them realize that. If you liked Bo2 then this is probably the closest you'll get to that though.

Constant glitches they don't bother to fix, can't make an anti-cheat worth anything so they push BIOS updates onto people to fix a non-existent problem and uses AI Slop to help mitigate their temp contract-workers' constant mismanagement and mistakes. I buy COD every year because I like being cucked, don't be like me.

Campaign is really really bad, but hey it has Endgame, a (imo) more player friendly DMZ. That aside I think this has been the most fun CoD in years and I really mean it. Zombies and MP are a step up from BO6 in several ways for me, the game feels way more arcadey and it's very much to it's benefit in being fun. Zombies is just fantastic, I was sold on it immediately after one match of Ashes of the Damned; it's launch map. As of writing this there's been 4 post launch maps released so far, most recent being Kowakujo, and all of them are unique and absolutely make up for the 'predictable facility' settings people had started to expect with the Dark Aether. This is the peak of the Dark Aether, it's equal footing to BO3 Zombies imo. From the amount of options you have for playing the mode in general, like Cursed and Survival, on top of being able to actually toggle elements of the HUD on or off, this is everything I'd ever wanted from a Zombies mode. I highly recommend it for Zombies this year if you can run it, I also think Endgame is a worthwhile distraction. Just hop into that, you def don't need to play the campaign unless you want achievements-or want to witness a dumpster.
