Cafe Cafe: Idle Bird Collector

Very cozy, easy to love game. Takes some time to get started with a larger menu but once you get going your chill. Mechanics are fun when you speed up time and I enjoy the collection of birds provided. Just wish the chances for higher tier birds occurred more often. I've spent hundreds of thousands of diamonds and still haven't collected them all.

I've been enjoying this game so far. i have it running in the background while i watch videos or something and just periodically check in to restock my food items. its fun to unlock all the birds, accessories and food items! this game is quite adorable

I have been looking for a good idle game to play while working on my college work. First impression I loved it. Very cute game and from what I can tell you can adjust a lot. You can change the screen size, sound volume. Even if you have a spare moment there is a fun little puzzle game built into it too. Those are my pro's, which have also kept me around even after the little mishap. Now the con is pretty minor. I made the mistake of dragging the game over to my second monitor. I assume its a little bug the game has. But if you drag it over there is no retrieving it. Its not your computer or anything. If you run into this problem all you do is click "ctrl + up arrow". It will bring the game back. Other than that, its a chill game to having running in the background.

Cute art and a simple but nice idea, but the progression feels weird. You can't hire birds to automate basic tasks like collecting money or cooking/buying food, which feels like a missed opportunity in an idle game. The decoration system also feels pointless. Decorations don't provide any benefits, so they should either all cost the same or just be free. The game isn't focused on decorating, and it's not long enough for cosmetics alone to feel rewarding. Alternatively, wallpapers and flooring could provide small bonuses (for example, a 10% speed boost), while all styles remain unlocked. Maxing an item should apply to that item type permanently instead of just a single copy. It could be balanced by making upgraded items sell for less. I also ran into a few bugs. Accessories sometimes disappeared and then reappeared later. I filtered my inventory to sell only common items, but it also sold rare ones. When I got duplicate birds after reaching the max level, it looked like I would receive green gems as compensation, but I never got any. Overall, the art is really cute and the core concept is enjoyable, but it feels a bit empty at the moment, and I'm saying that as someone who loves idle games.

Maybe idle games aren't my "thing" but it's nice to have on while i am doing something like working or doing a crochet project. The thing that befuddles me about this is that its so reliant on gacha mechanics, you could easily just buy the birds you want or upgrade them, I'm not a huge fan of randomised/chance based progression. By that I mean the whole gacha thing makes it a little annoying or whatever, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend this game, especially at full price (for what it is). I got this on sale and thought about refunding it, but it's fine enough.

Super cute idle game! I love the different bonuses on food and all the cute birds you can dress up! The only thing I dislike is the pity system on the gatcha, I've been stuck on one last bird for a while! thankfully the gems are plentiful and I love having this game run in the background to check in on!
