Cache Grabbers

I love this game. The loop of triangulating your location based on towers and then using that location to confirm the location of other towers is very satisfying. Honestly the process of revealing the map is more satisfying than working to GRAB THE CACHE. Very relaxing and good to fiddle with while listening to podcasts. I want more. More levels, bigger levels, a sequel... I dunno. More of this.

A nice chill puzzle game

I like this game a lot. There are no timers, health bars, enemies…just you and your tools in the trees. It’s very peaceful. I had trouble learning the UI at first but once it clicked, I was on my way easily. The music is very relaxing, and all of the sound effects “fit” and are pleasing. The end of level chime and the “shhh!” are my favorites. A perfect game for winding down and chilling. A+

This is a relaxing puzzler that really taps into my zen place. It's a game that I will come back to time and again when I just need a little something to calm and feel good from an otherwise stressful day.

Cache Grabbers is a clever take on the puzzle genre where your solutions involve focusing on sight lines and traversal. Each map has landmarks that can be used for triangulating locations in order to fill in a map and find the titular cache hidden in the level. It's got sharp level design that uses the tools at its disposal in every way it can, forcing you to use your brain to get through its 30 stages. The combination of music and visuals make it a chill experience, giving you ample reason to do some extra exploration to find the games many hidden secrets, which are the source of the overarching narrative. On top of that, it runs perfectly on the Steam Deck, despite not being listed as being verified. A smart, satisfying game that doesn't overstay its welcome, but is chill enough to return to in order to unlock its rewarding achievements. Looking forward to more from Bear Minimum Games!

Cool puzzle game to relax to, I'm enjoying it. Definitely recommend picking this up.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. I burned through it in a single 3 hour session, and came back later to complete the achievements. I can't think of another game in this category, but I guess The Witness is in the same neighborhood? This is really one-of-a-kind, and worth your time.

A gentle orienteering game. Explore a slice of fantastical wilderness to find trig points, and triangulate using sight-lines to satisfyingly reveal parts of the map. A balm for the soul, a walking simulator with a purpose and a definitive end. Delightful!
