C64 & AMIGA Classix Remakes Sixpack 2

Like the previous "Sixpack", this is a collection of unofficial remakes of games that were on the C64. (The Amiga part of the title seems unnecessary. Maybe some of these games were on the Amiga, but they're all very much of the 8-bit era.) It's quite nicely packaged with a launcher and help screens, although it sometimes uses the German names for keys even when set to English ("Strg"?). Super Drive On: Super Hang-On. The parallax scrolling is pretty nice. The music doesn't compare to the original. I don't remember the other racers being this annoying. Robo Dug: Dig Dug. Weirdly easy and unchallenging. You seem to get an extra life for blinking. Chopper Destroyer: Choplifter. This one isn't too bad, at least it has difficulty settings. Railracer: Trailblazer. Well this is more like it, in terms of being an iconic Commodore 64 game rather than a coin-op conversion. Feels a lot like the original. Moon Jumper: Moon Patrol. No, I wouldn't strongly associate this game with the C64 either. It plays fine. A bit too graphically flashy to really feel like Moon Patrol. The Babar: Barbarian. The moves feel weird to me. Yes it's got the little goblin guy that drags the bodies away. I've yet to play Age of Barbarian but it looks like a more interesting revisiting of this series. A weak recommendation, if it goes on sale (which it doesn't seem to do). It's kind of a fun novelty to own and I can appreciate the work that went into it, but the appeal of having these games on Steam would be actually having the original games.

Второй сборник так же включает 6 игр. Chopper Destroyer Remake - Вы управляете вертолётом и должны уничтожить наземные войска, а так же спасти как можно больше людей из плена. Вертолёт постоянно опускается в низ, так что приходится балансировать и одновременно стрелять. А ещё клавишей Ctrl переключать режим атаки с воздуха на наземный. Затем подорвать здание. Образуется дыра из которой выбегут люди. Аккуратно посадить самолёт чтоб не придавить спасавшихся. Они загрузятся на максимально возможное число в вертолёт и затем прилетаете на базу, садитесь и выгружаете несчастных. Повторять до победы. Уровень закончили. И давай по новой. Moon Jumper Remake - Вы управляете машиной на луне. Отстреливаетесь от врагов наземных и воздушных. Благо у вас установлены обе пушки для этих целей. Но не надо забывать и про ямы, не зря же игра так названа. Super Drive On Remake - это самые крутые 2D гонки, которые я играл на данный момент. Гонки на мотоциклах. Всего 10 трасс. С каждой трассой длина пути до финиша будет увеличиваться. Ремейк сделан потрясающе. Есть ты и 7 соперников, но так же на протяжении всего пути будут встречаться другие, серые, мотоциклы. Сделано это чтоб игрок не расслаблялся и всегда был в напряжении и на чеку. Ведь в них нельзя врезаться. Врежишься и потеряешь скорость и твои соперники в миг тебя обгонят. Отдельно хочу сказать про трассы. Тут добавили эффект подъёма вверх и спуска по дороге вниз. Добавили смену спокойной погоде на дождь или даже туман. Есть снежные карты, есть летние. Задний фон в течении одной гонки меняется. И это выглядит для 2D гонки очень круто. Вообще стоит покупать этот сборник минимум из-за этой игры. Хотя тут все игры отличные, но в этой я провёл большую часть времени. И да. музон здесь зачётный. Railracer Remake - эта игра отличается от всех остальных. Вы управляете шаром и движетесь по платформе строго вперёд. Перепрыгиваете ямы и добираетесь до финиша. Повторить пока не надоест. Ни чего особенного Robo Dug Remake - вы космический копатель земли. Копаете землю и лопаете монстров на уровне. Да, именно лопаете. Тут самое милое убийство врагов, что я видел. Как всех перелопаете переходите на следующий уровень. The Barbar Remake - такой же геймплей. И такое же управление, как и в карате из первого сборника. Только время действие другое и бой проходит на мечах. Все игры хороши. Сборник стоит своих денег.
