🌑 Introduzione: il gioco che dura meno di un pensiero Butcher of the North è talmente breve che se ti gratti un sopracciglio rischi di perderti metà dell’esperienza. È come se il gioco ti dicesse: “Oh, guarda… io ho fretta. Facciamo veloce, ok?” Ma la durata del gioco non sarebbe cosi importante in questa recensione, se il gioca costasse 1 euro e avesse un finale cosi ... surrealmediocre ? 🔦 Atmosfera: buio cosmico, livello sacchetto della spesa L’atmosfera è così scura che inizi a chiederti se il monitor è rotto. Non è “dark” nel senso artistico… è proprio buio. Tipo “sto giocando dentro un garage senza luce alle tre di notte durante un blackout”. Se ti piace vedere cosa stai facendo, questo gioco ti punisce. 🌀 Storia: surreale come un sogno fatto dopo una cena pesante, a natale. La trama è talmente surreale che sembra scritta da qualcuno che ha dormito male e ha deciso di trasformare il suo incubo in un videogioco. Non è bella, non è brutta… è semplicemente lì, come un oggetto misterioso trovato in cantina. 🗡️ Gameplay: funziona, ma non ti ricorderai mai di lui Il gameplay fa il suo lavoro. Non eccelle, non delude. È come quel collega silenzioso che non dà fastidio, ma di cui non ricordi mai il nome. Fa quello che deve, poi sparisce nel buio da cui è venuto. 🕳️ Conclusione: un’esperienza che… è successa Quando finisce, ti lascia quella sensazione tipo: “Ok… è successo qualcosa? O ho solo avuto un’allucinazione di 12 minuti?” Butcher of the North è breve, scurissimo, surreale e neutro come un bicchiere d’acqua tiepida. Non ti cambia la vita, ma almeno non te la rovina. ахах игра на 20 минут с тремя скримерами. Понравилась атмосфера, снеговика которого замочили в начале, гномы. Концовка хз, спасибо что стоит недорого :))

Je savais pertinemment que ce serait un jeu court, donc la durée de vie limitée n’a rien de surprenant. Néanmoins, c’est un peu dommage, car au vu de la fin, il y avait matière à en faire plus. J’ai apprécié tout le reste : l’ambiance, le petit garçon turbulent qui mérite bien quelques claques (tu as mérité ton sort !), une pincée d’humour, et une période de l’année revisitée façon dark. Bref, Boucher du Nord est un jeu sympathique, mais il ne faut pas s’attendre au jeu de l’année. Malgré tout, j’ai passé un bon moment dessus. Si vous aimez les jeux d’horreur indépendants, foncez ! Une manière originale de découvrir le Père Noël sous un tout nouveau jour.

I am Faulpelz and have already played a few titles of the genre. This is a great experience of a mix of pure fun and jump scares. I loved the scene where he sent the Snowman to sleep. Since it’s so short, I can’t say more. But for this money, it’s worth it!!
