Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Me encantó esta secuela, disfruté mucho la historia y todos sus personajes
ah I don't know how to put this into words. I really like how they drew me into the story, I even ended up crying when I got the Bad Ending for Limbo and Mozu. but honestly, I haven't finished all the routes yet, right now I'm still playing the Scarecrows route, and I admit they have character development here, I honestly didn't like them in season 1. as for Shu, I was pretty surprised by his Bad Ending, but for the Helvetica route, ah I haven't played it yet. I'm not even sure if I should play his route or not, I didn't like him from the first season. not because he's not handsome or anything, how should I put it, I just kind of feel like he's a bit of a playboy(?), he has a lot of female friends while I'm following his route, I admit that's part of his job. but I just don't like him AHAHA, sorry to you who like Helvetica too, honestly he's not my type. and I've replayed the Bad Ending for Limbo and Mozu 2-3 times AHAHA, I like them both.

Season 2 starts directly after the events of the last game, post Auld Lang Syne, and assumes the reader is acquainted with the plot points and the cast by now, so there's no point going in unless they've read the previous entry. Now how would they be able to start so casually after the prequel's godawful last chapter? The answer is: they don't. First thing the writer did was to retcon a particular character's fate, and thank goodness for that. Then they proceeded to have Teuta sit in a room with her childhood friend Luka and talk for half an hour about what happened, to hammer home that "no really, that totally happened, but look life goes on". Good job, really. This is a theme that will be reprised later in the VN, but we'll get to that. The opener is a red herring that might lead the reader into an initial speculation about Teuta's intentions and the gang as a whole being in on it, which turns out to be unfounded. The plot then shifts gears and railroads the VN into yet more of the same - immigration, corruption and time traveling through Teuta's signature power. This time around however, the tone is lighter and the themes touched upon slightly less hurting. Much like the last game, the story takes a turn at the end and there are two twists, smaller in scope and thankfully not nearly as heavy-handed. Overall, through player choice (or absence thereof) the whole ordeal is painted as a middle point in a trilogy - otherwise why even bother - with the protagonist reaching a critical state and the epilogue chapter nailing the idea that "doing the right thing" in one's mind is not always possible no matter how much one tries. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the sheer balls of the writer finally giving Teuta a run like that, shattering her naivete. The overarching subplot regarding the Neruda family, juxtaposed to that revelation, was also a pretty satisfying tearjerker that ended on a somewhat somber but hopeful note, reinforcing the notion that this is a story on a smaller scale, about the need for change and letting go of one's obsessions. Through the introduction of three different characters - Juno, Guero and the Watcher - the reader has three separate viewpoints on the same events that give context and what each of their motivations are. That was a brilliant way to arrange the cast, and I was satisfied with how the novel ended, unlike the first one. As always, sprite work and CGs are top quality with the score also getting some new tracks, probably not as memorable but still pretty good. A great boon is the ability to select LI paths from the start, finally stopping the endless chase for random choices two chapters in. The actual otome aspect of the novel shines with more extra stories and, in smaller part, through the continued romance of a couple members of the group - namely Shu and Limbo, who both feel like they are somewhat progressing their arcs. Scarecrow is still the most down to earth and endearing of the lot, while Mozu gets shafted HARD in this one. Like my boy really cannot have one route written decently for the life of him. In the first game I could understand as his relationship with death had just been laid out and the dark twist at the end felt okay, but in this one, he's just going with one bad decision after the other, and I honestly have no idea why he's been treated like that by the writer. The reader also gets to know Teuta's parents, and their LIs interactions range from hilarious and lighthearted to sad to nonexistent. Both the main plot and individual character's stories are treated like an episodic anime, much like the previous entry. Hints about who did what are cleverly placed here and there to have the reader guessing. Character interactions are still funny, well written and pleasant to read. Despite romance having a bit of a larger presence, the group still feels like a bunch of friends going about their business, never truly committing to anything specific. The scope being smaller and the focus shifting from the protagonist and her ragtag team of misfits to immigrants and Ruy Lopez - again?! - hurts the narration quite a bit, getting really stale at some point. I wished they would talk about literally anything else (provided it doesn't involve food, good god why can't they stop talking about food). Conversations have the same issue as the last entry: they drag on and on, just people sitting in a room eating all the time. And finally, it really felt like the writer wanted to do damage control at all costs by introducing some pointless extra lore about a certain character from the last game. No man, I will not be sympathetic towards that pos no matter how you twist it. "It doesn't change anything" indeed.
I enjoyed the first game a hell of a lot so I was really looking forward to this one as well. I must say, it didn't really hit the same way the first game did but there were still some really really good routes. Shu and Mozu shined in this one for me, their bad ends once again heart wrenching in all the best ways and the amount of tension in their stories made things exciting. I still have to complete a few routes and I probably will do that eventually, but from what I did play I really enjoyed.
