About

Defeat monsters? Check. Save Bulbhouse? Check. Family complete? Check.
Everything seems to be just fine... But not for long!

When Grandparaffine sends Bulb Boy to venture into the eerie depths of the basement in a search of a precious jar full of delicious jam, it quickly turns out that this mission will not be as easy as it might seem. And by saying that we don't mean problems such as a missing key to the doors. We talk about navigating through the dark, shadowy corners of the cellar...
Oh, and about facing sticky jelly creatures and their spine-tingling boss that wants Bulb Boy's head for his own. Yeah.

Bulb Boy 2: Jar of Despair is the sequel to the hit and award-winning indie game that combines point & click adventure with horror game. The original visual style of the game is inspired by 90’s cartoons and emphasizes the grotesqueness of the production, full of cute creatures and disgusting details, shown in close-ups.
Solving tricky puzzles and facing jelly monsters will slowly unfold a twisted story full of unpredictable twists and turns. And all this accompanied by original music and mind-scratching sound effects!

fun game, good story line not hard to complete, would recommend
Intresting, funny and weird
Cute and fun, just like their first game from 2015. Jar of Despair is more colorful and less creepy, but still full of creative ideas and bizarre creatures. Worth playing for all adventure game fans, especially those who enjoy Amanita Design’s work. One of the most beautiful games of the year.
A fantastic follow-up to the original. I loved how it keeps the creepy cute art style from the first game but adds more detail and personality to every room. The puzzles feel smarter and more varied, and the jam jar storyline is weird in the best way.
Bulb Boy is such a cute, yet equally gross point and click game with a lot of heart. All he wants is to be a good boy. Too bad he lives in a deeply cursed house that wants to burn out the light every chance it can get. The game is about 2 hours, a bit short but it was fun. Some puzzles were a bit unintuitive but nothing too frustrating. My only real complaint is the End Boss Battle controls. You have to control Bulb Boy and his dog simultaneously, which is an interesting mechanic, however, you are not able to control both at the same time and there is a lag at times switching back and forth. What makes it worse is that you can control both characters with the mouse but only Bulb boy with the keyboard. You find yourself fighting the controls more than the actual boss. Overall I highly recommend checking out the series for a unique point and click experience.
Очень приятная игра, всем советую. Игра небольшая, но очень классная)
流程相较第一部实在太短,3小时的实际游玩内容也很难称得上合格的续作
It's pretty good
Quite a unique point and click game, both the vibes and the art style. Loved the first one, loved this one. It has character. Well thought achievements and interactions.
