This game is alright. The artstyle is charming and the music is pretty good, although I have two differing opinions on the gameplay and the story. The gameplay is rather decent and fun, catching bugsnax in different ways is a good gameplay loop (even if a lot of them are pretty similar to eachother). There is a bit of jank in terms of how the tools work and also the game in general is kinda rough around the edges (I got stuck in the map geometry twice somehow). The story and characters are what kinda brings the game down for me. For starters the characters themselves are pretty generic stereotypes who never stop saying one liners that fit their archetype and that causes the dialogue to drag on and on, The voice acting is fine but not very noteworthy and the whole story kinda sucks, I found myself just skipping every conversation so I could back to the fun part of the game, that being catching bugs. The game slightly peaked my interest at the last part with the whole plot twist and everything, but then the "final standoff" was kind of an awkward mess. 5/10 very middle of the road with half good and half bad.

I would say this is a really good game! I love that there's so many side quests or things to do outside of the main story, and all of the designs are so creative! The music and sound effects are peak, the plotline is really cool, and I love the dialogue and interactions between the characters! Snorpy and Chandlo's is probably fav. Although, I don't know if it's just my save or not, but the shy weenyworms are just permanently gone from the cave? Could just be me, though!! Overall; Great game, would recommend!

Uno de mis videojuegos favoritos, su Gameplay es original y muy bueno, los personajes carismáticos, gráficos buenos y distintivos y los bichisnax son buenísimos, en Youtube tengo a uno de foto de perfil. Lo de hacer un DLC gratuito me pareció una genialidad y me encantó. Como último solo quería decir que el final es una de las cosas más impactantes y buenas que e visto.
