Budgie Genetics Simulator

This game was purchased for me as a birthday gift and wow, what a cute little simulator!! The available genetics are robust. It does not have rare captive variants like "hagoromo" or the means to make a "halfsider" chimera like the famous Twinzy, but you can make something as complex as a cinnamon recessive yellowface or even a "creamino", a variant of ino. Some rarer options like "anthracite" are available, as well. As a result, I was able to simulate my very first budgie's unique genetics. It's not exact as there is no randomization in how the budgies show their genetics, but it's wonderful to have a digital facsimile of a cherished animal. It was very fun to discover his unique genetics - i haven't unlocked every genetic option yet, but it appears that he was both dominant and recessive pied!! wow However! The greatest benefit to owning this game, beyond the educational aspect, is the ability to have an actual flock simulator. If you have lonely birds during winter, this is an excellent noise generator. Each bird generates its own vocal stream. The background generates wind noises. The weather does not change, but if the noise generation could be customized, it might be fun to have a rainstorm for rainy days. The birds are well animated. They are *so* cute and move realistically. This is a very good flock sim. -- Some notes on gameplay: I found it a little difficult to get started without a tutorial or welcome guide. The controls are simple and intuitive once you left-click on a bird. Instructions are in the bottom left corner. underneath your bird's data. Birds reproduce with no cooldown, but have limited reproduction rates. It can be difficult to keep track of and make room for a steady rotation of birds, especially if you haven't managed to unlock the extra flock spaces (which is only done through unguided achievements). ** A way to purchase more flock space would solve this problem and allow me to much easily sort my flock genetics into different projects. ** -- In conclusion, this is a really cool simulator. thanks so much for making it, both myself and my pet cockatiels are enjoying it.

Really enjoying this so far. I love birds and playing games about genetics. But I feel this game is missing a sandbox mode, where you can start a game with selecting the budgie's genes and etc. I think it would be a nice option! Overall, nice price for the game and good for what it is.

鹦鹉萌萌哦~玩过水螅的某某宗后我就特别喜欢配种游戏，这个游戏的配种很有意思，性状很多，有基因突变，还严格遵循遗传规律，我好开心。我很喜欢生物学，能在游戏里运用支架学到过的生物知识真是太棒啦！

我的不推荐并不意味这款游戏很烂，但它确实有一些缺点。先说说优点，这个配种玩法挺不错，虎皮鹦鹉的造型也很可爱，还有着大量对于虎皮鹦鹉繁衍的知识，即使不玩游戏只当百科全书来看也是值得的。但玩法上有着不少问题，首先是UI太小还不能调整大小导致看基因很不方便且选择配种的时候看不到第二只的基因，然后每只鹦鹉都会有一个随机的初始名字但不能标记导致很不好分辨，指引不大行，中文文本也有缺失。当然总的来说还是可以试试这个玩法的。

很好玩，希望把牡丹鹦鹉模拟器也能出现。

沉迷养鸟群!

你好，游戲中存在無法繁殖鳥類的bug（剛開始游玩時并沒有出現這種問題），左鍵選中鳥類並將光標拖至異性鳥類並點擊右鍵，沒有成功繁殖，我已重啓嘗試依舊沒有解決問題，確認不是右鍵失靈，希望可以儘早修復
