Brownie's Adventure 2

Brownie's Adventure 2 is an improvement over the first game in all aspects. The graphics are still a hodgepodge, but somehow feel a lot more coherent. The game has no noticable bugs. There is also a bit less toilet humor. Gameplay wise all 3 acts have good puzzles, built-in map navigation a la Monkey Island or Indy 4 and even an epilogue screen that depends on your in-game actions. All in all I really enjoyed the game and am waiting for the final 3rd part to be released later this year.

Brownie's Adventure 2 is another great call back to point and clicks of old with a distinctive and hard hitting comedy style that is front faced and subversive. Excellent pace of progression without getting old. Clear motives are given and when you have everything in order, it's the old Zelda games of seeing what is next, then having the whole world and style flipped on it's head (in a very good way!). Suffers from the usual tropes of point and clicks (some things being not so obvious, getting a little lost from time to time), but uncovering and becoming part of the mad logic of the world is all part of the fun! I am loving the game so far and I have just launched from Piglumps Poly to London Road in Sheffield!! Great Game well worth the price of entry.

Was highly anticipating this after the first game and played it as soon as it was released! And I was not disappointed, in fact this is one case where I feel like the sequel is definitely better than the original. The game feels more expansive and there's more of Sheffield to explore and even fearsome opponents to fight like an angry climber or an old man and his dog. I'd highly recommend playing the first one to get the most out of it, and both games have alternate endings depending on the choices you make so there's plenty of Brownie's Adventure to experience! I'm hoping the dev will go on to make it a trilogy ;)

I'm glad I stumbled upon this gem (and its predecessor). While the graphics take some getting used to and the language and gore are not for everyone, I feel the games are deserving of a much wider audience than they seem to have. I am very much looking forward to the third installment. Note: make sure your volume is up as I didn't realize how much music I was missing until late in the game.

We must appreciate that there is a second game after the first. It has some better controls, but still lacks sound design. If you didn't play the first, don't bother. If you liked the first Brownie game, you'll also like the sequel, same graphics style, jokes and puzzles. The characters still make jokes about their own graphics. Again, it has choices which affect the ending, not played multiple times yet. There's now a built-in hint system, but limited by a particular object. Grab the double pack of 1&2, and keep a look out for the third game (demo available at time of review).

A lot of new features, like combat and map exploration that work well. Still great humor, I only wish there were more spellbooks and recipes, but i'm still halfway through...

Brownie returns in yet another nonsensical and insanely stupid (but in a good way) adventure. He finally got enrolled in that prestigious magic school, but he's lacking in his studies. He's sent off to do some stuff, creates more chaos, and (potentially) saves the day. The artwork for this second outing is most assuredly a notch or two above the first game, and the humor hits even harder this time around. If you're a fan of point-and-click adventure games and just want to turn your brain off for a few hours, you can't go wrong with this one. Definitely looking forward to seeing where they go with the third installment.

Even better than the first game. I liked being enrolled at discount Hogwarts after all my hard work in the first adventure. Looking forward to the full release of Brownie's Adventure 3, the demo was well good

The epic sequel to Brownie Adventure! An incredibly fun fantasy spoof packed with clever puzzles, British humour, and wild dimension-hopping! Travel to post-apocalyptic Sheffield, lead armies of elves and dwarves, and take on a sinister sorcerer — all while laughing at supermarket jokes and game references! The puzzles are solid and always make sense, and the writing is top-notch — hilarious, irreverent, and proudly rude in all the right ways. The South Park-style visuals perfectly match the outrageous tone of the story. If you love point-and-click adventures that aren’t afraid to drop an F-bomb or three, this one’s for you. Brownie Adventure might just become your favourite trilogy ever.
