About
Brothel Tycoon is a simulation game where you are in the role of Yvonne, a young entrepreneur who wants to turn a small cafe into a luxurious place for adult entertainment.

After Yvonne buys the cafe, it is necessary to find employees. This part starts with choosing the assistant (which is a kind of game AI) and after that you need to choose the waitresses for the cafe.
During the game, when conditions are met, Yvonne can expand her business by hiring female dancers and opening a dance club.
Further development of the business enables the employment of additional employees such as security guards, nurses, hookers and maids.
During the game, it is possible to determine working days and shifts for employees, hire new ones and give notice to existing ones.
In addition, the basic task is to determine the prices of the services offered by the facility (in the range from -50 to +50% of the base prices).
Although the game engine is Ren'Py, this is not a visual novel. This game is a business simulation.
There are elements of a visual novel in the game, but they are in the function of management and the selection of further actions and tasks.
In addition to the conversations between the game's characters (which is performed in the form of a visual novel), the game also has a "Live Mode" where the player follows the events in various parts of the facility (café, dance and/or night club) and has an insight into all the actions that the employees do.
It is possible to see the waitresses while they serve the guests, but it is also possible to see how the nurses conduct a medical examination or what they do in their free time.
As a bonus, Yvonne has an additional option, which is not to pay the bills with money (see picture below)...

Quite fun management game. Be aware that this is a business simulation first and foremost and the AVN elements are light, lewd content is decent but the visuals are clearly very outdated. If you do a normal start with small cafe then it may be a bit difficulty in the beginning. I did manage to go bankrupt twice before I figured out how to make profit. Later the game becomes stupidly easy however. There is a bit of lag if you have a large amount of guests. One of the most fun things about this game is that there are so many different possible employees. Every possible employee can work specific jobs only and you can decide who works as your assistant, as waitress or dancer, hooker etc. so you can tailor the experience a bit to your liking.
It's a great game, everything in game is good, but there still have two points to improve. If the sexual event can be showed by L2D or 3D and the bugs can be all fixed, the Brothel Tycoon may become a perfect game immediately.
As a fan of the old "Hot Dog King" game, I'll give this one a cautious thumbs up. What is here is rough, but it's a good place to start. The idea is good and while I haven't spent much time in the game, I've seen a bug or two so it isn't perfect. The business simulation side isn't perfect either with some missing data that might come later, but is needed sooner. Critique and suggestions: 1) I might be too early in the game but having some choice over uniforms would be a nice feature to give the cafe a little vibe and likely the club/brothel interactions. See "Hot Dog King" gameplay if there is any out there still. This would also make watching the coffee shop daily experience a little better. 2) The menu should be something built. Like start as a simple cafe before adding drinks and then add the sex stuff much later (yes, more time and patience). 3) This is really going to be unpopular but...If you just want a risque cafe and not do the sex stuff, that should be available to do (again, haven't gone far so ignore if I'm talking out my hat). 4) On the business side of things, I would add some guidance on the prices (like competition price or some other way to figure out what you should/shouldn't charge). Further, I couldn't quite figure out why someone was angry other than wait time (I'm assuming drink quality is set and doesn't change). I'm not an MBA but there might be more data a real owner might have to help determine why profits soar and sink. 5) In tandem with 5, having more options for employees up front would be nice. Training or doing something to reduce down time (again, maybe this is an option later on and I'm missing it). Bugs: 1) The waitress hiring scene plays out twice even if there are no waitresses to hire. 2) The menu has all the sex options. To start, I think it should be a general cafe menu.
Love it!! Wish there where more simulation games like this.
This has to be the grindiest game I've ever played. I'd say there's very little adult content but since it takes forever to get new unlocks, I can't be sure. I just know what I've seen so far was minimal. I like the idea, not sold on the execution.
Game is less Brothlel Tycoon, but more promote and wait tycoon. You hire some employee, put them to shift (three per day) and wait. There is occasionally some erotic event which you can watch. Not big variety here. After week, there is event when your assitent goes through either all of your employees or just ones who needs some promotion (from F to A). At late game, there are dozens of employees. Everyone have it's own promotion set of pictures! Why?! Mechanics of the game are very confusing too, have to restart a game a and use help not to bankrupt in a week. You have two rooms - caffe (smaller at start) and dance floor. Where you can see your employees to do some work. And here comes actual my biggest problem. Because after some serious grind, you can hire actual sex worker. But you don't see them "work" (like dancers or waitress), but only throughout events (sometime when game decide to show you one) and basic text. You can only once a week organize event where you can see some actual action. TLDR: Massive amount of effort gone to hiring event and beginner rooms. But not to actual "brothel". Game is heavily confusing and too grindy (and I like grind, but this grind is bad and boring). Author's previous game actually have some sense and was kinda nice. This is too ambitious and rushed up.
it's slow - too slow to progress. Feels a bit more like an actual job, lots of repetitive scenes that could be trimmed or made skippable.
This is a very good small business simulator. Financial accounting and personnel management are presented particularly well. Industry-specific domain details add somewhat special flavor to the simulated workflow in the business environment. The only grievance is that an employee can be scheduled to work longer than one shift in a row: shift 3 can be followed by shift 1 of the next calendar day, or a regular shift can be followed by a special event shift for the same human resource unit. Such overtime work may be exhausting and unhealthy for the workforce, and may not be in-line with the applicable workplace laws in the respective jurisdiction. Developers should introduce proper scheduling constraints to address this overwork-related issue.
Love this game it's fun to play I would definitely recommend it
LIKE!!! 8.5 of 10 very different and time consuming and very fun the "normal" game is way difficult had to play the easy there is a definite learning curve to this and a lot to be aware of BUT it is fun and entertaining.
