Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
BrokenLore: LOW is a psychological horror game set in the beautiful Japanese village of Kirisame-mura, where an ancient legend haunts the land: a giant skeleton from Japanese folklore, the Gashadokuro.
GAME OBJECTIVES
➤ Reveal the Roots of Deep-Seated Hatred
➤ Explore the circular, claustrophobic pathway structure of Kirisame Mura
➤ Introduce the Game Loop Structure, symbolizing the unstoppable cycle of tragic events
STORY
Naomi Montgomery arrives at Kirisame Mura for a professional opportunity that promises to launch her music career but instead finds herself facing sinister presences and the cursed secrets of the village. Her story is a journey through time and memory, laying the groundwork for the events narrated in BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW.
The aura of mystery surrounding the village intensifies with the gradual revelation of a dark legend that haunts the town. The legend tells that, at the center of the village, there was an ancient temple, now disappeared, the scene of a tragedy that has cursed all its inhabitants.
GAME ELEMENTS
➤ The game uses realistic graphics, combined with low-poly segments in specific parts.
➤ Statues featured in the game are the works of renowned Italian sculptor Bruno Lucchi.
➤ Developed in collaboration with a psychologist to ensure care and sensitivity toward the player
VILLAGE THEMES
Kirisame Mura is designed to be an enigma in itself, a labyrinth with no exit that symbolizes the cycle of wrong decisions and broken destinies of the protagonist. The game’s structure emphasizes this aspect with an environment that subtly repeats and changes, challenging players to find a way to break the cycle as they delve into the story. Themes of envy, ambition, and failure will be explored.

A nice setting, a weird storyline, some awful character models, some terrible voice acting, very short. I still enjoyed it, but I definitely wouldn't recommend for $8.99.. I will be playing the other games in the series - there's definitely potential here - not really enough in this release, but I can see good things coming. (crossin ma fingahz)

I got this game through a Steam key roulette and let me tell you that I definitely didn't win. BrokenLore: Low is a dreadfully slow, boring game with more potential than was actually utilized. The premise, setup, and execution were all done so poorly that I found myself tired before the story reveals even started. There is a lot of walking here. So much so that the game itself is basically a walking sim with intermittent cutscenes and mini games. Moving backwards feels awful, like you're walking through sludge. The walking speed itself is tediously slow, and the running speed isn't much better considering how long the paths are. The game's linearity does not do it any favors in this regard. There is a moment where the designs shift and you play an eight pages mini game. This moment has its own mouse control defaults that can't be changed. So if you turned the sensitivity down before, be prepared to suddenly be stuck with ultra high sensitivity out of nowhere that can't be fixed. This moment felt pretty out of place, like the dev wanted to make two games and combined them instead. The story lacks any interesting motives. It's always good when media depicts some of the darker realities of life, but here I think it was poorly done. It's typical, not unique. It also doesn't really say anything either given the subject matter. I don't think it really needs to, but the lack of substance has me asking for anything. Final thoughts are: Dying is annoying but at least doesn't reset progress. Chases are tiring, with one particular chase being really tedious considering the mechanics of the segment. If you want to cheese that segment, then tapping the sprint key/button will let you get close to sprint speeds without blowing out your candle. (Don't tap too fast, tap in a rhythm) The game's performance is okay but can chug in a few spots later on. One of the few games I play that I truly don't recommend. There are better walking sim horror games out there. BrokenLore: Low really doesn't have anything unique to offer unfortunately. (Also $9 is real steep for what you get if you don't get a key the way I did)
I really liked this game, it a great exploration of Japanese Folklore through a horror lens. It also had some great social commentary baked into the storyline that I think elevates it beyond just a simple horror game experience. It was a fairly short game, ~1 hour, but they did great work with that hour. The game felt polished , the visuals looked great and they had some pretty clever effects peppered through out that I thought were excellent. I would definitely recommend picking this game up to anyone that likes horror with multiple layers to it. I am excited to check out the rest of the games in the franchise. If you would like to check out my play through, I have a link to it here. I hope you enjoy, and, if you do, please consider liking the video and subscribing to my channel. https://youtu.be/Y6y-nZsDwa8
Линейная игра с сюжетом наркомана, да и то этого сюжета едва ли на 20 минут хватит да и то если все осматривать... рублей за 50 еще можно взять, больше - оно того вобще не стоит.
Really nice, short horror game Pros: - Amazing atmosphere and graphics - Really good voice acting, liked the characters - Karaoke part was nice - short and sweet Cons: - Bad optimization - Not the kind of game to play two times, please put chapter select next time, no one wants to play a game again just to refuse an option for an achievement that doesn't change the course of the story anyway; also please consider putting auto-saves before major events in the game, such as encounters etc - Erika was too hot, I got distracted and she stabbed me Buy it on sale
