Brink of Consciousness: The Lonely Hearts Murders

Считаю, что в данном жанре - у этой игры нет конкурентов. Отличный, продуманный, от части запутанный сюжет. Прошёл игру за пару часов, перепроходил и кайфовал. Советую всем пройти её раз 10-15 - уверяю, вам не надоест.

Mediocre HO game, too much of point-and-click in the form of running back and forth with yet another nonsense item to solve yet another nonsense puzzle. Stupidity of the story was somewhat amusing though.

A pretty good HOG with an interesting detective story and great environments. The voice acting is a bit off and I encountered what seems to be a fairly common game breaking bug with the bonus chapter, but overall this game is fun and interesting and certainly worth a play!

First time playing a game like this. Grabbed it while it was on a sale for a couple of bucks. Easy. Not the greatest story telling, but still interesting enough to keep you engaged for the duration. Artwork is wonderful! Finished the game in just a couple of hours. Great game for those days when you crave entertainment, but don't really want to expend too much brain power. ^_^

The graphics are great, the puzzles weren't as challenging as I'd hoped, but the bonus chapters' final puzzle was very challenging. I wish the game was much longer. It was too short for my taste, but overall fun.

The second game in the Brink of Consciousness series, The Lonely Hearts Murders to me felt more like one of those generic point-and-click hidden object games. The first game, Dorian Gray Syndrome, was more cohesive, while in here it has 4 individual chapters, with separate maps. Speaking of the map, it’s just a straight downgrade and not as cool. Also, no journal. The story has more characters and dialogue, and it’s a detective mystery. It’s still good, but less interesting to me than the first game. The gameplay is the standard of the genre, with exploration, item collecting, hidden object minigames and small puzzles (easier than the first game). A hint system helps if you’re stuck. The collector edition adds an epilogue chapter with ties to the first game, and other stuff like an in-game guide and an interview with the developers. Really like these interviews! In the end, I can still recommend the game on sale, although you should play the previous title first.

总体上来说这是个一位心碎的父亲Owen在女儿Olivia失踪后和他的警局侦探朋友Logan在30天期限内找孤心杀手的故事....... 有一说一这个故事我个人觉得其实没有前一部吓人[spoiler]，虽然bonus chapter会出现前一部熟悉的元素:)[/spoiler] btw我觉得这个游戏里给我印象最深刻的是Jayden这个憨憨新手警察，譬如因为Owen长得不像Olivia而不让他pass（Logan：你有没想过Olivia长得比较像她妈妈？） （以下涉及剧情剧透） [spoiler]其实孤心杀手不是主角们发现的，而是另一位失去儿子的心碎老父亲发现的......你们警察局到底干什么吃的啊(bushi） 至于孤心杀手为什么杀人还把人心脏挖出来......他心碎了这么久，他觉得有必要解放其他心碎的心灵！（你有病吧.jpg)[/spoiler]

Histoire sans queue ni tête, et très verbeuse. Aucune logique dans les emplacements des objets cachés. De plus, la carte sensée indiquer où chercher est complètement à l'ouest ... Seules les scènes d'objets cachés et les minis jeux sauvent la mise, car elle est minime (moins de 3 €). Ne vaut pas plus, et on peut largement en trouver de meilleurs au même prix.
