About
Brewgether is a co-op brewery management sim where you and your friends build a brewing empire from the ground up.
Start with a small countryside setup, master the art of brewing, supply bars and roadside stands, hire employees,
buy property, and grow into an industry-scale operation.
Every drink you craft, every bar you run, and every house you rent out brings you one step closer to becoming the region's top supplier.
Brew beer, wine, and spirits across multiple hands-on stations — grind grain, stomp grapes, boil wort, distill
spirits, and age your product in barrels. Each station has its own interactive minigame that rewards skill with
faster processing and bonus yield.
Add up to 3 catalysts per drink to create thousands of unique combinations. Discover hidden legendary
recipes for massive price bonuses and bragging rights.
Stock your bar shelves and open the doors. Customers have preferred drink selections, keep the atmosphere — lighting, music, cleanliness, and temperature all matter. Keep the place running smoothly and watch bar brawls break out among your less sober patrons.
You can't do it all alone — Hire brewery workers operate stations, bottle
drinks, and apply catalysts. Pay their wages on time, and watch them develop mastery that unlocks speed and yield bonuses.
Remember to pay them.
Expand beyond brewing. Purchase land, build houses, and furnish them with beds, couches, tables, lamps, and more.
Each piece of furniture placed correctly increases the rent you can charge.
Assign tenants, collect rent from your postal box, and build a property portfolio that generates passive income
while you focus on brewing.
More people in town, means more alcohol selling!
Play solo or with up to 4 players. Every system — brewing, selling, hiring, building — works seamlessly in
multiplayer. Split tasks across your crew: one player brews while another runs the bar, a third manages
properties, and a fourth handles the logistics.
Drop-in friendly with Steam integration, shared economies, and late-join support and cloud saves.
Unlock new locations, progress through a skill tree across multiple skills — boost station output, upgrade employees, assign unlockable perks
Unlock trade discounts with townsfolk merchants. Upgrade your stand and bar to sell more.
Drink your own product for temporary buffs — movement speed, jump height, station speed bonuses, build time
reduction, shop discounts and more.

I can't recommend the game in its current state. It has a lot of bugs which should really have been ironed out after the demo and suggest very little playtesting has taken place. These include a UI bug related to the health bar, some parts of the map allowing you to walk in the air on an invisible platform, being temporarily trapped in an NPC's house, and items glitching into spots from which they cannot be retrieved. The scarecrows don't go back to their field once they aggro onto you (like the thieves do at their camp), so they'll start attacking you even when you're nowhere near their corn. I appreciate the developer discloses that AI was used to help create the game — though a quick glance at the UI would confirm as much anyway. It, like the game, is unpolished (and actually quite ugly). Worse, the developer has failed to mention that AI was also clearly used for generating the NPC dialogue and much of the game's other text. This comes across in the bland, even cringeworthy at times, "writing" (if you can call it that when an LLM has done all the work). If the bugs are fixed then this game is an adequate business simulator — albeit with a fairly bland and uninspired world — and looks like it offers a lot for the player to grind towards. But there are better games out there, some for an even cheaper price, which do the job much better. And doing a series of laborious tasks (wearying at the best of times) is even harder to justify when you suspect the "person" congratulating you at the end isn't even a human pretending to be a friendly NPC, but rather a soulless chatbot.
Felt a bit rough and weird at first. But once I gave it a chance I discovered that there's some depth to the game. Lots of brewing to be done, different machines, recipes, trading. You can buy houses and do delivery contracts, upgrade your bar and probably lots I haven't encountered yet. The game is growing on me, good co-op game!
Recommended I'll be honest: I almost wrote this game off in the first hour. The tutorial and menus could do a much better job of explaining everything that's going on, and the starter truck feels way too slippery compared to the other vehicles. Those are legitimate complaints, and I completely understand why some early reviews bounced off the game. But... The more I played, the more I realized Brewgether has a surprisingly deep progression system hiding underneath that rough first impression. You're not just brewing beer. You're making beer, wine, and spirits, experimenting with different ingredients, expanding your bar, helping townsfolk to unlock new progression, upgrading your business, and eventually juggling multiple brewing stations at once. Before long you're managing production, planning ahead, and deciding what to stockpile for quests versus what to sell. It became a lot more of a management game than I expected. Is it perfect? No. The onboarding needs work, and I hope the developers continue polishing the early-game experience because that's where I think they're losing players. But if you enjoy management sims and are willing to push past the first impression, I think there's a genuinely fun game here with far more depth than the current review score suggests. I'd rather see the rough edges get polished than watch people miss what the game is trying to become. *I received a review copy through Keymailer.
