About
Breathedge 2 is a humorous survival adventure set in space, following an ordinary Man and his perfectly ordinary space problems. It’s a direct sequel to Breathedge, but don’t worry if you never played the first game: everything will be equally confusing to Breathedge veterans and complete newcomers alike.
The Breathedge Corporation unexpectedly started a galaxy-wide war, built an enormous army of Coffinbots, and attacked the largest human settlements. The Man and his faithful companion, an AI living inside his spacesuit, accidentally derailed the Corporation’s plans for a swift takeover and instantly became the number-one target of every hostile Coffinbot out there. Apparently, fate still wasn’t satisfied. Having barely survived, our heroes suddenly find themselves under attack by their own allies.
Who attacked whom? Who is Babe? Why does the Man need a Chicken? Where were we even going? And what are we supposed to do with all this duct tape? Figuring that out is now your problem.
Breathedge 2 is a story-driven adventure where exploring the world is a major part of the experience. Along the way, you’ll get to know the Man and his crew, learn more about life on the distant fringes of inhabited space, meet new characters, and gradually untangle the forces carving up the galaxy between them.
Explore abandoned stations, ruined settlements, shipwrecks, and plenty of places no reasonable person would ever think of entering. Discover other people’s stories, strange devices, useful junk, and completely useless one-of-a-kind treasures. Some discoveries will be funny, others strange or unsettling, and a few may help you understand what is actually going on and what part you have to play in it.
Hunted from every direction, the heroes of Breathedge 2 are forced to survive in some of the harshest conditions on the fringes of inhabited space. There are no 24-hour stores or banana smoothies out here, but there is an ocean of duct tape, tons of wreckage, and the Man’s remarkably capable hands, ready to turn all that garbage into surprisingly useful contraptions.
Learn new blueprints, craft tools and equipment, and upgrade both your gear and your spacesuit. Repair and dismantle machinery, gather resources, find ways into inaccessible places, and venture farther and farther from anything resembling safety. Out in open space, you’ll need to keep an eye on your oxygen, temperature, and various other little details capable of bringing your adventure to a premature end. Occasionally, you’ll also have to fight, run away, and shove aside the bodies of less fortunate astronauts.
Breathedge 2 is currently in Early Access and is still actively being developed. At the start of Early Access, the game includes its first major story chapter, a large area to explore, and its core gameplay systems. The story is not yet complete, parts of the world are still inaccessible, and some systems will continue to grow and evolve throughout development.
During Early Access, we plan to release major updates that continue the story and add new areas, mechanics, characters, items, and other features. At the same time, we may continue refining existing content, balance, UI, performance, and fixing issues as they are discovered.
Player feedback is an important part of this process. We’re incredibly grateful for your support and for all the comments that give us both inspiration and a fresh perspective on the game. Please keep sharing your feedback with us wherever you can. It helps us make Breathedge 2 even better.

Ahhhh what I have been waiting for. The release of BREATHEDGE TWO!!!! Oh wait, I found out it was just early access, I didn't bother reading anything I just clicked "put in my basket!". Playing it, thinking it was the full release was -- boring? It's a long slog of gathering and the inability to split stacks, which is important with inventory management. Trying to figure out how to repair a tool while playing through the game only to come to the conclution that -- maybe repairing a tool is basically just adding on whatever thing that makes it better? I can go with that, rather than having to make a new tool when one breaks, so you don't have to carry around backups :) This is early access, don't expect a lot from it. If you're looking for something even nearly as "polished" as the first game, please wait till full release. A LOT of things need to be balanced, some things need better explanations -- kind of -- even though most things will explain them selves with some patience and playing the game. I can't say too much good about the game, nor really bad as it would be unfair to an early access game. They have some good ideas, concepts that can evolve to work really well <3 This is really bare bones gameplay, and I can see why they still need a year or so to develope the game in to something interesting and fun to play. Babe needs a bit more intereaction, the chicken only comes out twice (for me at least and one of the times is a very well placed chicken mwhahahaha). A few treasure hunts which annoy the living hell out of me in any game, as finding the last peice or two is always a time sink, unless you get a bit lucky. Here are a few things that are good to know if you're going to play the game. You can't repair your items, just replace the broken part :) or at least I never found a way to repair anything. Keep a good stash of ice, you will need it eventually. You WILL find backpacks, bags and what not. They're not for your inventory, they are upgrades for your food- and water machines. The only inventory expansion is the one you can craft. I spent about 2 hours trying whatever I could to get the damn backpack to grant me more inventory, then I did something I try to NOT do when playing games -- using a searchengine to find the answer. You WILL need A LOT of food and drink as you venture farther away from your base... Also some energy items, but less important. This great need for food gets a bit tiresome, having to scavange for crates constantly till you find the best way for you to make things in advance, scavange and so on. Again. It's early access, don't expect any kind of greatness or what you loved from the first game -- which to be honest -- was kind of boring to me but it found a good spot in my heart some how. If you haven't played the first game, then at least you get an amazing deal with getting 2 games cheaper than if you just buy the early access game number 2 :) Happy fall everyone <3

Awesome start, I liked Breathedge 1 and also 2 is going in a good direction. I played 8hours to complete the first chapter and I think all archivements. So really recommanded

Devs have some things to work out, that's for sure. However, overall this game is pretty fun. The gameplay is interesting, especially if you love collecting and crafting. HOWEVER, the biggest areas of improvement for me are the dialogue, ESPECIALLY the suit, policemen, and
the robot in the station
. The humor really falls flat with them, and is hit or miss (but mostly miss). But, there are some fun easter eggs I've run across. Overall I'd give it a 6/10 as it currently is, but am excited to see what the devs will come up with for 1.0
awesome. bummer not fully released until 2028. cant wait
