What this game is- A free 2d/pixel art mmorpg that will remind you of the overworld of early Final Fantasy games. Lots to explore, collect, and do. Combat isn't exactly mystery dungeon/old school turn based, but quite similar feeling. What I can appreciate- This is made by a two person development team. It knows what it is and aims to do it well from what I've seen thus far. I like the effort put into world-building, the fact that the game is completely free, and the many items available. There's a satisfying sound when collecting xp. This is a game that would be perfect to relax when you don't feel like playing anything else, something not very mentally taxing to enjoy while talking with friends. It doesn't need fancy animations or high poly, hyper realistic graphics for what it sets out to accomplish. I don't think this game is for everyone, and that's okay. I think some that are willing to give it a chance will enjoy it as a nice addition to their library. I also like that there are pets and mounts, crafting, and bosses What I would like to see: basic character customization...maybe a female avatar, and a skin tone adjuster. As I have very little playtime now, I will add IF I feel the need as I gain more hours. What do I dislike: currently, nothing. I have a very short attention span for games right now due to burnout but this seems very enjoyable for those seeking a simple retro mmorpg experience that can also be enjoyed solo. Note to players: I know this style of game isn't everyone's cup of tea. It may feel dated in 2022 to many people, and that's fair honestly. What I see is a passion project from two people that have poured countless hours of their lives into this to bring a COMPLETELY free game they thought you could enjoy with friends. For that alone I am willing to explore this world they've made, and if I enjoy it, follow them and potentially support any future projects there may be. Note to devs: I appreciate the effort you've made and will likely delve deeper into the game as time goes by. I hope my comment allows more poeple to take notice, and eventually have a steady community of people that can share secrets, raid together, and generally enjoy this game. Thank you for your hard work and no subscription price or microtransactions. I look forward to seeing future content (unless the world is complete, then I look forward to discovering the many secrets over time)
this game is absolute crap
It's clunky, it's rough and not just on the edges, there are bugs and trees bleed. But I kind of love it. Has a sort of idle game reset mechanic so you can play through many times and improve yourself each time, which you'll need to do if you want any hope of beating bosses. The end game is a slow grind I guess, but the actual content only takes a couple of hours to get through so if determined you could do several run throughs a day. Some of the bosses are evidently designed for party play but you won't find much of that so if you like grinding things out yourself this is a great little time waster.
After 100 sever connection attempts it Never Connects!!!!!!!
Cool but the extreme laggy connection makes it unplayable and thats a true pitty.
its a good base for a game, in my experience your hosting needs some changing, your skilling seems really active, but i cant really tell cause everything feels so clunky because of lag overall not a bad game tho, did not hate my experience...
good game
I couldn't bring myself to do a "thumbs down". I wish there was a different way to score this game. It looks fantastic. I love this kind of art. I wanted to play the game just by looking at it. However, I don't know what the deal with the server is. The game is literally unplayable here in USA. I saw people saying that in reviews and thought they were being hyperbolic but you simply can't play it because everything lags so bad that you rarely execute an attack to hit anything. The mobs are desynced so badly that they are moving around, seemingly not aggro, 10 squares away but something invisible is attacking you until you die. The town guards are no help because they either can't or won't notice the desync phantoms shredding your guy to ribbons. I'm giving a "thumbs up" because I would really like to see this game playable.
Game seems like a fun and deep game for such a small production studio. I hope they get US servers up because as it is now it cant be played from over here. I would love to give it a shot even if the creator were to charge a one time fee no more than $10.
Another realesed unplayable game. Game design were better 22 years ago. I know people still like pixelart style, i myself like it too, but gameplay is so terrible, servers so laggy, hard to find anything that might be fun in this game.
