About
An ancient world torn by war between two factions — The Sanctum and The Forsaken. Your destiny begins here.
Vahnora is a real-time, top-down 2D MMORPG. Battle legendary monsters, forge powerful gear, climb the Infinity Tower, and fight for control of relics that grant faction-wide buffs.
At level 10 you permanently choose your class at the Class Trainer. Each class brings its own playstyle, two unique active skills, and a distinctive passive.
Warrior — front-line bruiser, raw STR/CON
Archer — ranged DPS with the highest crit and dodge in the game
Mage — fragile but devastating AoE caster, fast cooldowns
Rogue — stealth assassin with burst and crowd control
Cleric — divine support with self-healing and the best CDR
Paladin — heavily armored holy tank with AoE taunts
Berserker — savage rage-fueled DPS, attacks faster the more you kill
Capture seven sacred relics in Mortis Pass and stabilize them to grant your entire faction passive buffs — bonus XP, damage, defense, drops, or PvP advantage. Hold four or more and you achieve Domination: a global announcement and decisive map-wide superiority.
A wave-based endless dungeon. Each floor is harder than the last, with bosses every five floors and tier-rare rune drops climbing with depth. Personal best floor goes on the leaderboard. PvP is disabled inside — pure PvE skill.
Guilds register and battle for control of the Eldora castle. The owning guild earns 500 gold to the treasury every 10 minutes between sieges. PvP is forced on inside the walls — defend the crystal or break it.
Five tier sets from Tarnished to Eternal. Refine equipment up to +12 (with success rates that scale by tier), enchant slots for stat bonuses, and socket runes for fine-tuned builds.
Guilds with member caps that grow with guild XP, custom emblems, and rival declarations
Parties up to 4 members with up to ×2.5 XP and ×1.75 drop rate
Auction House — full player-driven economy with price history and trending items
Pets — collect, summon, and assemble three same-tier pets into a higher tier
Global, local, party, and guild chat channels
Unjustified kills accumulate Chaos Points. The higher your chaos, the heavier the penalties: reduced XP, increased death penalty, and at level 3+ you become open game for the entire server. Play the predator — but expect the world to come for you.
The core game is and will always be free. Optional Crowns purchases unlock cosmetics (auras, titles, chat colors), convenience features (extra character slots, name change tickets), and time-limited boosts. No pay-to-win. No power locked behind a wallet.

Calls it not P2W, has "QOL" upgrades locked behind premium purchases like XP, Loot%, Inventory, Autoattack, etc etc. And you need to spend over 1k Euros to unlock all levels. Just vibe coded cash grab.
TL;DR: Don't. I have 154 hours in this game. I loved the idea of it. The execution, and the continual updates ruining the game, have made it basically unplayable. The developer is maybe one of the worst game designers I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. If you have any criticism, you better have a suggestion to make it better and you better not say it in public, or he will just ban you. The Bad: It is P2W. There is no question about that. There is a VIP system that gives players very specific bonuses you cannot get anywhere else. It is not an MMO. It is not a MMO-Lite. There is no playerbase... and for good reason. Classes have a passive and two skills. That is it. They are all basically the same. If you are playing a class that doesn't have built in healing or sustain it is unplayable. The content is non-existent. The Dev has decided to instead of make more content or make the existing cotnent better... he wants to artificially extend the already extremely long gear progression system by requiring twice the materials to upgrade as previous. He made it so that the "Infinity Tower" scales so objectively hard that you cannot make progress. Each floor boss is basically 2x the difficulty of the last. You have a hard limit on character scaling. It is not possible for that to be sustainable... and its the ONLY content the game really offers. The game also makes it so you essentially have to macro/bot. Every floor in tower has a boss that scales as described above. It means that you end up needing survivability over and fights can take 10-20 minutes per floor. No one is going to sit there for hours upon hours just hitting Q/E over and over again manually. Except... if you macro/bot; you will be punished for doing so. He basically designed a Q/E Simulator and is surprised people automate that and punish them for doing so. So inherently dumb. The good: It is a decent time waster.
Quick review for undecided would-be players: I do not recommend playing this
At this stage all the game features are tightly wrapped around an ever-expanding in-game shop, and all the changes aim to push players to spend money. Not much to do but grind resources that have a high chance of being wasted entirely through one failed gear upgrade. No actual class variety, no actual skills variety, no actual gear variety, no different leveling options; even your character attributes don't actually affect much. Playerbase is non-existent, PvP is non-existent, Best summed up by the developer himself, direct quote: "It's a grindy game. If you don't like it, don't play it". It's a decent idea actively being ruined by bad execution, mostly because the thin-skinned yet overconfident author doesn't seem to have the tools at his disposal to steer the game development properly.
Major faults, making this product a waste of time that sparks no joy:
1. Agressive monetization while claiming that "everything in the shop can be received by playing". That is evidently, blatantly untrue. Quite a few very pay-to-win options and items are behind paywall and the game has "Premium" feature lavishly showering paid customers with in-game benefits and unfair advantages. The developer states that unpaid players can buy Premium points grinding in-game currency. Yes, it's theoretically possible, but in reality there is not a snowball's chance in hell to do so: noone is selling. There's a reason WoW introduced paid tokens well after 10 years of release, and let's be honest - this is no WoW. 2. Fundamentally flawed player action system. I personally loved the idea of my character having one basic attack and 2 (two) active skills, this simplicity has it's charm; but... the game has neither auto-attack nor autocast options (unless you pay for Premium ofcourse), so you have to manually spam three buttons, no tactics nor skill required. Just mash your spacebar (default attack button) ~2.5 times per second and press Q/E every few seconds, that's the gameplay. Have a spare keyboard ready. 2.1 I won't get into details about macros, clickers and such, the "protection" that's being introduced is forcing players to solve math problems every once in a while, which is annoying, but opposing any 3rd party-based autoplay is the only way for the developer to sell his "Premium auto-attack feature", so he's laser-focused on fighting what he calls "botting". Whatcha gonna do. 3. Fundamentally wrong understanding of "difficulty scaling". The only idea of a "more difficult opponent" this game introduces is "an opponent with X times more hit points". If your class has self-healing, "fighting" world-bosses or going through "infinity tower" is just standing in place pressing your three favorite buttons (Q,E,Space) as fast as you can for 20-30 minutes. Which is, in my opinion, is not a fun gameplay, clickers or no clickers. There are other ways of making in-game encounters challenging besides giving a monster an extremely large HP pool, but the developer seems to be unaware of those ways. 4. Constant changes, and not for the best. The author, to his credit, seems to actually be pouring his heart and soul into making this game, too bad there's not much else being poured (like actual expertise or common sense). The updates are rolled out daily with dedication deserving of a better purpose, and oftentimes it's not some new content, but puhishing suffocation of existing game features (e.g. increasing costs of gear, decreasing lvling speed, introducing limitations etc etc) - most of which can be easily overcome by, you guessed it, spending real money on Premium. But even the tweaks and additions that aren't pushing players into spending money are so inconsistent and chaotic that the players (hovewer much there is left) just don't have the time to properly adjust to a change before next one comes. This feels like the game confuses "being interesting and challenging" with "being mean and prohibitively exhausting". Big no-no for playerbase forming. 5. Overall clunkiness. This product is laggy, buggy, shaky, twitchy and feels itchy. Constant "hack hack hack" or "pew pew pew" sound of your attack will do a number on your eardrums while your fingers demolish your spacebar. Object interaction is abysmal, you WILL get stuck trying to walk around every single impassable "tree" or "rock". Npc interaction recently made somewhat better (i.e. there are actual NPCs now instead of just "spots you have to vaguely walk around hoping to stumble upon a dialog window"), which, I guess, is an improvement. But the game is still, in it's core, fundamentally and willfully unpleasant to participate. That being said, I stand by my words said in-game to the developer: I wish him all the best in his efforts and I commend him for little QoL upgrades. It's just that I don't see small "quality of life" tweaks - which still have a looooooooooong way to go to get to playable levels - I don't see those small changes fixing the underlying, core, fundamental problems that only seem to get worse with time. Therefore - my pessimistic arse doesn't see this game has a bright future ahead. There's a chance, but it's vanishingly small. For now - it's a joyless labour with a pinch of annoyance, not a "game".
Spawn,read tutorial,go farm,die from pk from faction 5 times. 10/10 game design
Это просто ужасная игра.
Is the game perfect? No But the game has a lot of potential, and the Dev is answering questions and taking suggestions and feedback in the Discord channel. He has already made some improvements to QoL and fixed some bugs. It is a free game, you are not forced to buy anything from the Shop or even buy VIP unless you want to support the development of the game. I am currently F2P myself and I am leveling just fine, and getting pet drops, rune drops, etc. You also get FREE CROWNS each day for logging in, so use them as you wish. If you just play the game you will see, but most people are leaving a review after less than 1 hour play time. Jump in and experience the game yourself, it is a grind. I personally like the gear progression, refine your gear to +5, then you can forge the NEXT gear upgrade for yourself, and keep the momentum going. The game has a lot of potential, def. worth taking a look into it! I also posted a First Look video going over everything from my first impression experience. I am now level 28 since posting that video. https://youtu.be/Km0zOUHGypM
