If you ever played Battlefield Heroes, this is for you. I have never played Battlefield Heroes.
Great game, feels like a upgraded, better version of the old Battlefield 1942. If you enjoyed Battlefield 1942, you will love Brass Brigade. Game has great features and maps. Well Done!!!!
This was my first ever game on Steam and I dont regret it. its a Single-Player sandbox most people get upset at the fact of it not being Multiplayer but I relish the thought of hoping on to Brass Brigade for some fun Overall I do hope he adds Achievements or Trading cards and other major updates in the future

Brass Brigade is... a good time waster really. Something to open and play for half an hour and then not look at again for the next 2 weeks. I bought it because it reminded me a lot of Battlefield Heroes so I decided to try it out. It still reminds me a lot of Battlefield Heroes so success on that part but thats it, I find the actual game boring really. +Quite a lot of maps. +Quite a lot of factions. +The graphics are nice, the controls are easy, the sounds are ok. All the usual you'd expect. +/- The AI is not the smartest but it works in a game like this. Just run into each other mindlessly and kill. Works for a singleplayer game, a game thats good at helping the time pass faster and thats all. -It does seem somewhat buggy. In one of the maps an enemy AI spawned in a building that can't be entered and just got free shots at whoever came close to him with no way for my AI to kill him. The guy, thanks to spawning in an un-enterable building just locked down half the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map by himself. Another bug I found is that for some reason I saw a destroyed tank with like 10+ bodies all cuddled up next to it. I know tank riding in the game doesn't exist so I was like huh thats funny as it turns out the AI was touching the destroyed tank on their way to the points and touching the destroyed tank immediately kills them. I touched the destroyed tank and immediately died. Did it twice just to be sure. So definitely buggy. -Repetative and way too simple. If you want a small game which you can use to just spend some time with, no brain, no thoughts, no nothing, just mindless shooting then you came to the right place. Otherwise its a no, do not buy. If a time waster is what you're looking for then buy only at a discount.
Honestly, I quite like it! I've had it on the wishlist for years never really thinking too much about it, but with the recent holiday sales, I decided I might as well give it a go. I'm glad I did! While it might not be considered anything overwhelmingly amazing and revolutionary, it still offers a fun and slightly customizable singleplayer experience! It plays a lot, and sure feels a lot like Ravenfield, except WWII-based. (Despite not touching Ravenfield in YEARS, that game still holds a special place in my heart lol). The historical battles the maps are based on is a neat aspect of the game! Despite being what kids might look at as "boring graphics," I actually really appreciate the level of detail that went into everything! As a matter of fact, I myself enjoy a simple visual style like this. All in all, it's a great little game, and I'd highly recommend picking it up! Heck, even if you don't play it now, it can be something fun and enjoyable to come back to whenever your internet goes out! Maybe I'm just biased because I'm getting burnt out of other games at the moment, but I really am finding myself liking this game enough to keep coming back day after day! Give it a shot for yourself!
This game is close to perfect, I'm not exaggerating, but the stupidity of the bots completely breaks it. Your team mates are there only to shoot or run you over, or take some vehicle and get stuck somewhere. It the player does 50% of kills, it's not enough. Around 70-80% is necessary to win, so the only way is to use a tank. I just took all the flags but one, had 500:100 lead and lost in 5 minutes after I lost my tank. This is just not fun.
It's nice to see that the game has a great and mighty victorious Red Army. Gameplay-wise the game is good, but in some places on the maps there are some flaws, for example in Kursk the trees hang in the air, plus sometimes enemies in tanks see you through the walls and shoot over the trench. It would be cool if the game had online or co-op so you could play with friends against bots. People will be free from capitalists, the world will be free from tyranny, Russia will win!
If you like the old battlefield games on PC or the star wars battlefront games from 2004/2005 and you have an interest in WW2, this game was made for you. I always hoped a game like this would be made someday and i'm so glad it's finally here!!
Played it for a couple of hours and was surprised this game did everything and i mean EVERYTHING i wanted/expected from something like battlefield 5. bonus points for covering every theater and multiple playable factions from WW2 and the selection of weapons did not disappoint.
Its's a fun little game to boot up and have a quick war match. Not as polished as Ravenfield, but offers better customisation. I encountered one frustrating bug where if you die near a supply box, you won't respawn.
