Bramble: The Mountain King

Отличный представитель своего жанра! Сочная картинка, скандинавские музыкальные мотивы, простой, но затягивающий сюжет, разнообразный геймплей, непохожие друг на друга боссы (особенно последний шедевральный!) и совсем недетские моменты в казалось бы мультяшной игре оставили лишь положительное впечатление. Порадовало, что игра не затянута и за свои 5-6 часов успевает показать кучу персонажей, локаций и рассказать несколько историй. Однозначно — 10/10!

Finished the game in 1 playthrough. It was terrifying, cute and fascinating. I know...right? Music is brilliant as well.

Nessa aventura memorável e folclórica, sinto que saímos todos muito mais ricos do que chegamos, afinal, é nas flores mais perfumadas que residem o primor e augúrio de uma sina complexa, rica, e refinada. It's a cute little game with fairy tale vibes, with interesting symbolisms, and it might interest people who are interested in Nordic folk mythology. It's beautiful, and it has a fable-like setting. It has something magical in it that is very folky and very agreeable. If you want to just explore beautiful (and dark) lands in a fable setting with Nordic mythology, you might enjoy this quite a bit. On the other hand, it is a little bit awkward because it feels caught between two genres. It is not quite a light-hearted, cutesy adventure in the woods, which was actually what I had first understood it would be about. It definitely has horror elements, so you have to also be sure that you don't mind that. At the same time, I found it a little bit underwhelming because it never really manages to be horrifying or scary. It just ends up being sometimes a little bit disgusting. I couldn't even understand that it was horror after playing it, and I actually only realized it was horror after reading about it. It also reminds me a lot of Limbo. There's something about the ambiance, but also the game design, with many deaths and trials. Except in here, sometimes it can be a little bit silly. Like, for example, you touch one bramble vine and you instantly just drop dead, and you watch your ragdoll convulse while you wait to try again. The game design also feels a little bit outdated. Although otherwise, it was overall an enjoyable experience. I would recommend it to people who want a short and low-key game, who don't mind horror elements, and who enjoy fable-like stories with Nordic mythology.

Limbo ve Inside ötede dur kardeşim baban geldi. Çoooook uzun yıllardır böyle atmosferi etkileyici oyun oynamamıştım. Nasıl bu kadar underrated kalmış anlamadım. Bu zamana kadar neler kaçırmışım meğer. Şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum.
