Bramble: The Mountain King

I have always struggled with this kind of games - essentially scripted levels with narrow interactivity. Perhaps I am still traumatized by Dragon's Lair back in the day (if you know, you know), but I happen to be one of the few people who didn't really enjoy Little Nightmares and quit halfway, nor did I like the recent hit Reanimal which bored me after an hour. However, I have completed this game and although I had to play it over several short sessions and at times push through a bit, I have overall enjoyed it. Although it shares a lot with the games I mentioned mechanically, the checkpoints are more gentle and I didn't find it as frustrating which helped greatly. I kept playing this one because of the gorgeous visuals, the beautiful dark story and atmosphere, and the excellent voice acting. The game is technically superb, including the almost flawless camera work, which is a common complaint with this kind of game since it's so difficult to program. There aren't many music tracks but those few, are really nice. Definitely recommended. Going out to pick blackberries will never feel the same again.

Музыкальное сопровождение волшебное, а финальный босс под такое звуковое оформление — это отдельный вид искусства. 🎶🎻 🎮 Минусы, о которых стоит знать: Оптимизация: Даже на хорошем железе изредка случаются небольшие просадки FPS, хотя общему прохождению это не мешает. 📉 Управление: Оставляет желать лучшего. При игре на геймпаде персонаж иногда выбирает странную траекторию и бежит не совсем туда, куда планируешь. 🎮🧭 Достижения: Самый спорный элемент. Часть ачивок откровенно странные, а из-за специфического управления выбивать платину честным путем становится слишком нервным занятием. 🏆❌ Итог: Несмотря на технические огрехи и спорные достижения, игра — стопроцентный шик. Она дарит отличные эмоции и запоминается надолго. Рекомендую! 🌟

Jogaço d+++++++++++++, ja esperava uma boa experiencia, mas acabou que foi excelente, jogo incrivelmente lindo, ambientação linda que a cada cenário via como um futuro wallpaper e o melhor os SFX do jogo te deixa muito imersivo na narrativa. Recomendo de mais!!

Played on steam deck. While this game has an interesting atmosphere, its execution is terrible. Very bad graphics on steam deck, which is surprising given the basic graphics and mechanics, and floaty and late movement, the character is slow and floaty, yet the game still introduce combats! When the mechanism is terrible, the developers should have sticked to atmosphere and narrative rather than the immature time consuming combats that require responsive movement, which the game doesn’t have, at least on the steam deck . I do not recommend this game to play on steam deck, I did enjoy watching it on Youtube though.

É um jogo estilo plataforma, com um controle um tanto limitado, e com uma quantidade absurda de gore. Adorei a história do jogo, mesmo achando que o Olle e a Lillemor estariam muito melhores se simplesmente tivessem obedecido a mãe desde o começo...

Um jogo que me deixou completamente imersiva, não só pelo visual, mas também pela trilha sonora. Confesso que me assustei um pouco as vezes, mas até nos momentos mais obscuros, a história ainda trouxe um pouco de luz. ps: motivo principal de não ter pensado em platinar, eu devo ter morrido mais de 20 vezes em algumas partes.

Bonne petite découverte, finit en 5h. J'ai vraiment cru à un jeu mignon pendant un temps avant que l'angoisse de ne prenne au ventre petit à petit. Bon lore, de bons visuel et mécanique. La 2,5 D donne parfois des sauts un peu hasardeux mais j'en tire un grande satisfaction d'avoir joué à ce jeu.

Grim meets whimsy in this beautifully dark Nordic tale. Gameplay and puzzles are really chill. This game is absolutely more about the story. It starts light and lovely and gets dark fast. I absolutely loved the story, and it balanced light and whimsical with the incredibly dark themes surprisingly well. It's definitely a story that sits with you for a moment after it's done. Absolutely not a game for kids, holy hell. If you like dark stories that take you to the depths, this game's for you. If you have a sensitive heart, maybe stay away from this one.
