A scary bedtime story or a horrid physical entity? The story goes that the toymaker is an undead figure who comes out at night leaving a toy on the children’s bedroom window to lure and capture them. A folktale passed through generations within the family might hold some dark secrets.

I enjoyed the game. a few more jumpscares needed to be better tho https://youtu.be/tfC6yce1wIs
really boring https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1756960960
TL;DR: It could have been great, but the game is a bit too buggy as it stands. This game had all the makings of something I'd enjoy. Nice setting, an intriguing story set up, and some nice puzzles within the environment that helped the story unfold. The build of the house was expansive, and it was relatively satisfying to explore the new rooms to try and learn more things about what's going on and why your character is there. I'll give points to the "ending" that I ended up having to watch on YouTube because I couldn't complete the game. The bad is that the game is very buggy and the scares were not super effective for the most part. I had a controller plugged into my computer at the time I started the game, and the game would not allow me to switch back to keyboard and mouse until I exited the game and unplugged my controller before restarting. I had several puzzles where my movement died altogether. Using controller, my movement died and the only way to get out of it was to pause the game and then resume and somehow it got back. On mouse and keyboard, I entered a puzzle had to use my inventory to place pieces, and then my mouse wouldn't work on the puzzle at all. No amount of pausing and resuming fixed that issue. I'll also say that the game was not very clear on when/how to start puzzles. I luckily had a friend who was in my twitch chat telling me where the puzzle box was when I entered one of the rooms because the countdown automatically started and I hadn't even found the puzzle box yet since it was unclear what the goal was. It happened in both rooms that I tried.
Also, unsure why a creature would chase you at all when you Fail a timed puzzle because there was no way to escape the room or combat the creature anyway? might as well have just been a game over screen because the creature wasn't exactly scary
Autosave would also be a great addition. With how buggy the game was for me, I wouldn't be able to recommend it to others in its current state. If there were optimization things fixed and the puzzles wouldn't just bug out on you while you're actively trying to complete them, the game might work.
bon jeu que j'ai apprécier jouer mais il manque le fait de pouvoir sauvegarder son avance quand on le veut (mort = retour au début du jeu)
Optimization is really poor in this game. I was getting constant frame rate drops and heavy stutter while trying to play in 4k resolution with an RTX3080 and i9 processor no matter what I lowered the graphic settings down to. Also, the graphic settings often do not save and have to be reset every time you play. Another thing that bothered me was the low fov with no slider to adjust and a camera that swings, which caused me some nausea. However, the deal breaker for me were the forced timed puzzles where if you don't solve the puzzle in a very short amount of time you are killed and returned to the main menu. There are no hints for these puzzles either. Situations like this only cause frustration for me. Other than the timed puzzles, gameplay is a key hunt through a huge labyrinth of a mansion that looks more like an intentionally designed haunted house than anything real, where you look for keys and then try to remember which one of the hundreds of doors it goes to. Overall, I didn't enjoy my time spent with this game and I therefore cannot recommend it.
You find yourself in the Toymakers house and can´t leave since the main door won´t open. You have to find three clown-masks hidden in the mansion to escape this haunted place. Simple, short...and full of bugs. Pro: - Nice atmosphere - The sound-design is good - The graphics are ok, especially on "ultra"-settings - You are allowed to change the key bindings Contra: - Still too buggy - Save-option f.e. is a disaster - Jumpscares can be triggered again and again Honestly: The game was actually fun up to one point: I collected all of the colored keys (blue, red, purple) and finished 2 of 3 clues. Then suddenly the game told me "You have to find the purple key to open this door". And really: The keys had disappeared from my inventory after saving the game. As compensation I suddenly had two flashlights with me instead of one. So I decided to jump to another save point where I actually should have had collected all of the keys (like 4 minutes before the last save point) but my inventory was still empty. And now I was stuck because the game suddenly wouldn't let me open doors back to the main hall. Another bug: In the children's room, I made the mistake of randomly picking up several colored toy cubes. Since my inventory was now overflowing I was not allowed to pick up any more items. Unfortunately, the option to remove those cubes from the inventory is missing...so from that point on, the first session was over for me and I had to start the whole game again. Very annyoing... There is still some work to be done here. Atm, I cannot recommend the purchase. (As soon as the bugs are fixed, I will edit this review).
Jogo muito horrivel de controlar a sensibilidade do mouse e não tem em português.
My first impressions of the game where nothing but positive, it was fun and not overly difficult......however it seems that if things are done out of order to any extent when it comes to the mask placement the game glitches, or my game just glitched to the point where it was no longer beatable(the progress reset after finding the last mask piece) and I would have to start over from scratch.......while it's not an overly long game and at some point I will do it just to see the ending. I would still recommend this game, until that point it was still a fun game!!! https://youtu.be/VzcQqqascDA
Great game that has lots of potential! Beautifully crafted environment! Loved the mansion and all the well placed decor. Character models were great! The atmosphere was bone chilling and the sound design had me on edge the whole time. Puzzles were really good, just took several 'do overs.' Can we please have more of the "Narrator"? They were awesome and I would love to hear more of their voice in the game! Panning movement is wayyyy too slow compared to forward/backward movement. Two of the puzzles are pretty vague with hints, especially with the time constraints. I think I would have liked maybe an Easy, Medium, Hard mode for the puzzles that could have differing time constraints/hints based on difficulty. Not sure if a controller is compatible with this game, but I tried using one and kept getting 'stuck' on doors, controller would not work for the globe or safe puzzle, and I couldn't bring up my inventory with it. Tried to save several times before going down to retrieve the final Main door key, and upon perishing, was started all over at the beginning of the game without being able to load my save from the last save point. Overall, loved the game and highly recommend!
