About
This was supposed to be just another classic story about a hero saving the world.
Following the prophecy of Merlin, the hero Harold draws the legendary Sword in the Tree.
Blessed with extraordinary power, he prepares to set out on a journey to protect his homeland—Avalon.
But before his adventure can even begin, a silver-haired girl inside a high-tech bottle calls out to him.
“Harold. Come with me.”
Every adventure begins with a single character.
Along the way, you’ll recruit and choose your companions until you’ve assembled a classic four-person party.
There are 16 unique playable characters to meet, each with a personality of their own. Some come from fairy tales. Some come from outer space…
A silver-haired girl sealed inside a bottle.
A Little Red Riding Hood who travels on the back of a giant dog.
An ordinary office worker who somehow ended up here from the modern world.
And many more.
Your party of world-saving heroes may look a little unusual…
But as long as everyone works together, they should still be able to save the world.
Probably.
Saving the world isn’t easy.
Harold learns that very quickly.
By dying.
When he opens his eyes again, he finds himself outside the cycle of time, back aboard the mysterious ship belonging to the girl in the bottle.
“Our last party didn’t have enough healing. This time, let’s recruit that field medic first.”
“Wait… did I just die again?”
…
Once Harold realizes that the girl has the power to pull him out of the cycle, he can’t help but ask:
“So why do you always bring back only me? Wouldn’t it be better to bring more people with us?”
“To bring someone out of the cycle, I need to become their friend first.”
“And?”
“I don’t like making friends.”
“…Right. Well, at least you’re honest about it. Fine! From now on, I’ll help you make friends.”
And so, their quest to save the world gains one more objective:
Find companions. Become their friends. And bring them out of the cycle, one by one.
