I could write multiple paragraphs critiquing various aspects of why I don't like it but I will just simply say it's not for me.
every frame of this game is so beautiful.. the atmosphere is soft and quiet. I loved walking through the world at my own pace and soaking in the scenery, really recommend!
This game is all about atmosphere and taking it slow. You’re basically walking, listening, and letting the story do its thing, and honestly it works. The visuals and sound design carry the experience hard. Yeah it’s slow, but that’s the whole vibe. Great game to play when you want to relax and turn your brain off.
First few words said in the game, I already knew Damn
This one's a bit difficult to say whether to recommend or not. It just feels like its a story we've heard before over and over again, so in that respect it doesn't feel very unique. Is it worth a playthrough? I think it really depends on how much you like narrative walkthroughs and what your expectations are from them. For me personally, it was okay, again, it feels like its a story we've heard over and over again but from a technical aspect the visuals were nice. 3C's could be a lot better, it's clear that the developer has more experience in art than programming or in-game feedback (UI, rumble, audio cues, etcs...).
The visuals and music of this game are so atmospheric and beautiful.. loved playing this so much, it’s calm and emotional. I did feel a bit motion sick after playing nonstop for two hours, so it’d be nice to have an option to disable motion blur if there’s any, other than that, it’s a wonderful game and i really recommend it!!
A very short and sad story about a father that lost his wife and child. There are drawings that you have to collect on the way. You can scare the pigs and rabbits. The game itself is very well made The graphics are really amazing almost feels like real life. The binural sound made it feel like your actually there in the game. The story is very heart breaking to hear. I would recommend this game 8/10
Very touching story, relaxing game and beautiful views
The graphics in this game are beautiful. The story seems to go in an interesting direction. Please keep in mind that every gamer is different. In my case, I don't have much patience for bad UI. I was in this game for about 1 and a half hours total and I never got past the waterfall chapter. It has a very poor mechanic of where you can't stop walking. Also, there are few save points. After playing it for about 45 minutes, I wanted to quit. At that point, I was lost in the game and had not finished the chapter so I had to lose all progress in the game which admittedly was not much. I suppose its okay to get lost in the chapter and never be able to finish. However, it would have been nice if the game provided perhaps a mode which offered you a way to get some hints at the direction you are supposed to walk. I tried to look at landmarks so I would know and there are those which at least let you know that at some point, you are going in the wrong direction. However, the scenery is too similar around you for you to know which way to walk so you don't go in circles. i will say i would recommend this game if you just want a pretty game to look at and walk around in. I would recommend it if you are a gamer who has patience to do levels over and over. I would also recommend it if you are not someone who gets lost like I did. And I also do irl. After being frustrated this much in the first chapter, I probably will uninstall the game and not finish it. So for a person like me, I would not recommend.
