BOSSGAME: The Final Boss Is My Heart

This a very cute and very cool little game! It really feels like a couple back and forth when you revive one another in perfect time to shield a hit. This game needs more love!

fun gameplay, fun story

Very fun boss rush game! You control each character (two dumbasses in love) with a side of the controller, and you need to be careful where enemies attack in order to prevent dying, all the while trying to strike them down. Each fight can be replayed to try to clear it under a certain time or by doing a big enough combo to unlock some neat little texts. Very innovative, with a cool art style and concept (a bit like if Undertale was just fights in a way) with cool and fun dialog. The characters all have their own little story and their proper way of talking, which is neat! My only gripe would be that I'm not 100% how the "do a 25+ combo" works on some fights, because I swear I got some of them around 30+ and still didn't unlock the bonus for that fight! But it's just a minor thing, the game was really fun to play through.

This game is such a vibe. I'm happy that came across it from a youtube vid of it being on sale. Such an amazing job and care was really put into this. My stream community like myself were diggin the music plenty. Hope this team continues to push more great hits together. The rhythm play, the reaction and comical script. Too much fun and joy to take in... Thank You

Super cute game, Short & sweet, writing is very emotive, music is excellent. very tempted to try to spend several additional hours trying to master these fights.

The perfect game. Sit next to your partner, each with one hand on the controller, even though it's not labelled as co-op.

I don't get it? Why aren't more people obsessed with this game? It's really good??? Just buy it.

Cute silly little game

An action-arcadey game where you manage stamina bars while attacking and blocking with both of your hands. I beat the campaign in 5.5 hours but will play to improve my times. The character writing is pretty cute. Shoutout to lesbians frfrfr Only downside is that the game doesnt seem to be in development so no leaderboards
