Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Space Junk
I have complicated feelings on Borderlands. I've played 1 and 2 in the past as a teenager, so there's a bit of nostalgia. That being said i never really thought about replaying the games until recently. Looking for a no thrills fps to play, i decided to pick it back up, starting with the PC version of Borderlands 1 (i'd previously played it on PS3). I was a little hesitant to return to be honest, in part because of how linked Borderlands is to the studio that has headed its development from the start - Gearbox. I'm not gonna turn this review into a rant about Randy Pitchford, but even in the infamously sleazy business of video games he is probably one of the most sleaziest people around. I was also worried that the comedy would be nothing but unfunny cringe. But i figured it might prove to be a cute little distraction nonetheless. Honestly for what it is, Borderlands is pretty solid. It's not hard to see why it caught on. It has a distinctive visual style that very few games have managed to approach in terms of quality and uniqueness (Id Software's RAGE is arguably a better looking game but its not as fun). As a shooter it does a good job at balancing mobility with slower stop-and-pop ironsights combat. Of course the real star of the show is the Diablo style loot Skinner Box, which actually works quite well though i wouldn't consider it as much of a draw for me. Honestly, these sorts of looting systems work better in FPSes then they do in Diablo-esque action RPGs if only because of the skill required to not only stay mobile but also track the enemies on the field. That being said, Borderlands is not the most polished of games. It can get kinda aimless - not helped by the very loose and nonexistent narrative. Granted, it also means that it doesn't suffer from the problems that plagued the later games - annoying dialogue. The biggest problem however is probably the fact that combat is VERY bullet sponge-y, especially at the end of the main campaign. So while i would say the combat is enjoyable i wouldn't call it great. granted i don't know if there is an FPS-RPG hybrid with really good fps combat so make that what you will. In conclusion, Borderlands is probably the best 7 out of 10 game ever made. A solid foundation to build on top of. Its the perfect starting point for a decade+ old bloated cash cow.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

OK. I love this game for a few reasons. First off... the humour is continuous througout the game which I find lacking in the second and third installments personally. Second, the gameplay itself is very excellent. The DLC's are great and fun to play. I have played this game over and over and never have gotten bored, always new weapons to find. Overall.. excellent game, fun to play!
One of the best games ever made. I still play this game off and on when I get bored. If you have never played it its worth the purchase with the low cost.

game runs like trash after like 30mins of gameplay. just play the 2nd game or according to others play the original version
das spiel schätzt die zeit nicht der spieler nicht, man muss viel laufen, kein schnellteleport es lässt auch an vielen anderen stellen zu wünschen übrig. aber es ist borderlands 1 und es gibt story zum firehawk <3
Coop didn't work well. Voice Chat causes lag/rubberbanding. Weapon slots got locked to nothing while making their guns disappear. Minimap disappears between zones. Played and finished the non-enhanced version instead.
