Bom jogo, agora o jogo fica muito entediante a uns 70% da campanha e falta aquele tempero que tem no BL2 pra ficar jogão.

Pros: 1.) It's the very first borderlands. 2.) Nostalgia for when game devs actually liked the games that they made and didn't push narratives no one asked for. 3.) The best looter shooter out there in my opinion. (This is speaking about the borderlands series as a whole. Excluding the pre sequel and the forth one, they're both unplayable garbage. Cons: 1.) Good luck getting this crap to start. 2.) Good luck keeping it from crashing or losing server connection. 3.) Ads for your newest pile of dog crap? ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS GEARBOX?? I loved this game back in the day but this "updated" version is pure crap. Just play the OG version and you'll have a much better time.

I know this review is far from original but having a game that you have to fidget around in the files and settings just to get it work is annoying as hell. I like the borderlands series and think most of the games are good, but to have a remake this poorly optimized is taking the piss. I've solved the lag issue now I'm dealing with the screen tear every time I move the cursor a little too fast, it's just not worth all the messing about to get it working.

For my first time playing Borderlands, this was an... okay introduction to the series. I found the gameplay to be fun and played it with a few friends. Which honestly if I didn't have the friends, I don't know if I would've enjoyed it as much. Unfortunately, the story never grabbed me and I ended up just guns blazing through everything. There was some funny parts that were sorta memorable I'll give it that. But It didn't feel very long. (We decided not to do most of the DLC and side stuff by the time we hit level 30 cause it was just a ton of fetch quests.) We ended the game at about level 35. The main story and side missions both keep sending you from zone to zone then back to the other zone you just came from to kill yet another bullet sponge group of guys and that was a little draining after a while. The ending was also quite flat in my opinion. My friend also straight up said "That's it?" The gunplay was decently fun, I liked the variety of weapons at your disposal, and how you're not locked to certain weapons based on the class you picked. There's gonna be a lot of times you're like "I definitely hit that shot." Even with the accuracy perks. Brick who is essentially the "Tank" of the group overall seemed the most powerful with his special ability. Mordecai's, which was who I played as, his ability kinda sucked in comparison. But maybe I built it wrong idk. Also, the lack of a 3-4 seater vehicle was just tedious, you CAN spawn two vehicles, but we ended up 2 manning the cars and pushing one of us in the front of the vehicle around most the map. Which was just more fun to do. Overall though, decent experience. It was good enough to make me wanna continue through the rest of the series. So it's worth at least a casual playthrough if you're looking to get into the series for the first time.
