Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

No.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Awesome game, would recommend everyone that loves looters to play

Good game!
It kickstarted its own genre and I respect that, but unfortunately the game aged really badly. -Story. Main problem, is that story and characters are almost non-existent. Sometimes you will get a cutscene introduction and a little bit of dialogue, but those are scarce. Side content is even worse, cause you will only get a written message at the start of an quest and when you return it, almost never a short dialogue. But OK, what about an actual story and characters. Well, the story is boring and characters not that interesting either. They will flesh them out more in DLCs and future entries, but not this time. -Gameplay. Actually it's good, but unfortunately it can't stand on its own for ~30 house. Gunplay is fun, I exceptionally love to tear midgets apart(why did they remove it in the 2 entry). Leveling up and skill system are simple, but rewarding, at least for the siren. Unfortunately it's not enough for 30 house, especially, when the quests here are usually boring litererally "MMO-style" slop aka "Kill 30 midges", "Find Sledge's ballsack", etc. Actually having something resembling a story would really help here. -OST. It's OK, it does it job, but nothing outstanding. -Graphics. They are outdated, but the style still elevates this game really well. Also I really liked the atmosphere, the game outstandingly conveyed the "Mad Max" vibe. -Technical side. I didn't experience any issues as a server, but as a client you need to install a fix for the FPS and there was always a feeling, that the game just didn't register the shots, but that may be an issue with on our side. DLCs: -Dr. Ned. Short and sweet, I really like the Halloween vibe and that they put an effort to actually create a character and put some good jokes in it. Recommended. -Moxie's Underdome. This DLC did an immeasurable damage to the society. -Knoxx Armory. I liked the story and Knoxx has some banger dialogues, but unfortunately constant driving really drags this DLC down, it really overstayed its welcome. Not recommended. -Claptrap Revolution. Easily the best one. It's isn't short, but it isn't long, good jokes, funny characters, interesting locations, I actually really liked the main hub here, can't explain why, but I will remember it for a long time. Recommended. Overall, the game started the legendary series and if you are a fan, I think you should beat it. It's not really awful, it's just there are a lot of better ways to spend your time.
Davvero molto giocabile, godibile
As someone that had played through much of Borderlands 2 and Presequel on my Xbox as a teen, I had never attempted to play Borderlands 1 and I never knew why. Borderlands is a fun romp through Pandora - nothing more, nothing less. I've always been a fan of the cel-shaded graphics, and it being one of the first to mix looter-shooter and rpg earns it some novelty brownie points. I don't have much to say about the game - the cast of characters are cool, but the story is relatively forgettable. It's nice to see where the franchise got its roots though. Happy Vault Hunting. 7/10
I love this game, but wtf with optimizing?
I am a massive fan of the Borderlands games, though, I'm sure it goes without saying certain entries are better than others. Let me set the scene a bit, years ago when I was a kid my father 'acquired' a copy of Borderlands I shortly after its launch due to the praise he heard surrounding this revolutionary title. I remember my dad didn't seem to like the game much, but after giving it a try, I was hooked immediately. The Diablo meets FPS that was Borderlands I doesn't have much flashy, nuanced gameplay by todays standards, but at the time it did something innovative. I beat the first game multiple times and have loved it each and every time. Many people complain about the way the story is delivered in this entry, but, it has that slow but deliberate storytelling and let me tell you, it does pay off! Each of the DLCs for this game are fun and exciting in their own right, though, if I had to pick one I disliked it would be Mad Moxxis Underdome as it seemed a little bland. However, I still recommend anyone who wants a taste of that gritty, crisp gunplay that made Borderlands so popular, to give this game a try. I feel the gunplay and gore effects in this game are outstanding and the series would make those less of a priority in later entries unfortunately. There is a lot of grindy ass side quests that are notorious in the Borderlands community, but, if grinding isn't your thing, just skip em! Borderlands I will always have a special place in my heart.
