Espectacular despues de tantos años
Wish I could give this a mixed. The PC ports of both 1 and 2 are iffy. Both have memory leak issues, crap net-code (in a co-op focused game, lol) that is prone to crashing. I think if you just want to play through the original looter shooter, a quick campaign run-through solo or with a friend is a good time. That being said, despite having more hours in this (for the sake of achievement cleanup that I have not started on the sequel), I would still say the sequel is much better. I have two main issues, one of which is them introducing new bugs and a unavoidable memory leak and not polishing up the technical state of the PC port with the enhanced edition, and the other is the inability for even a single DLC in this game to not have at least one aspect of it that pisses you off beyond anything the base game could throw at you. Zombie Island has the Brains Questline, Secret Armory has a million miles of road with no fast travel, Robot Revolution has the worst collectible system ever put in a video game ontop of a repeat of the brains questline but with robot parts, and Underdome as a whole stops being fun after 30 minutes, while taking over 10 hours to complete and gives no rewards of value besides a single skill point after the initial arenas, and some achievements after the latter arenas, not even exp. Most of this is optional to an extent if you don't care about achievements, but considering that side content was done well in the base campaign, and even the achievements were reasonable, it does put a bad taste in my mouth how obnoxious the DLC is, and none of it is adjusted in the slightest for this "enhanced" edition. I would say this again, for those who just want to play a good looter shooter, get the second game. There is little reason to play the first one unless you are planning something along the lines of a full series playthrough or are playing it for nolstagias sake. It doesn't seem gearbox want you to play it either considering how rough the pc port is technically.
De cuando el progresismo esclavounidense no destruyó esta saga.
