good game
Mixed feelings about this game but I will keep my reasoning for negative at the forefront here. There are so many bugs in this that it is considerably hard to run it. At the start, I was put against enemies that would not take any damage. I ended up resetting the entire game, only to be met with more bugs and situations where enemies would just be swarming respawn points. Driving through purple water and taking double damage until you restart the game. General stuff that just added, seemingly at every level. Otherwise, I think the concepts were interesting. I didn't really enjoy having to look for a new gun to use just because mine were not good enough for the present task, but I suppose this is a feature of a looter and not a drawback. Overall, some things were not readily apparent either, such as how the leveling worked with the main storyline, as well as how things should be spent with the coins or tokens or whatnot. Story itself was mediocre, some of the characters were just very cliche but at the time this was released perhaps that was different. I am not sure what to make of it overall as there was definitely some fun to be had but it was a toilsome experience in many regards. I got it for free, and for that price obviously its worth a shot, but it came with bugs that cost me part of my sanity so perhaps it wasn't as free as I thought it was.
mmmm meAT bycicle
They update their servers so that you're not able to play with ur friends. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ people
i think the fact that ive owned this game for so many years yet never beat it says enough. something about the gameplay loop turns my brain into goo. IMO, its "popular good" and not my taste
i have rebought and played this game on every console i have played this game has been here for every change in my life and has been there through every rough patch and day i just need a break i love this game and to me no other game can really compare
Many things change, but Borderlands 2 being one of the shooters of all time will not. An addictive combat loop, combined with vast replayability with the six vault hunters creates a fun experience that improves on the first game in every way. Skill trees have gone from basic to incredibly complex, offering the opportunity for an infinite number of playstyles and combinations. Most weapons in the game are fun to use and getting a legendary has never felt as good as it does in this game. The story is surprisingly good, and Handsome Jack is one of the most recognizable and memorable villains in a video game. You add all things up, along with a plethora of extra content and you have a game that is easy to sink hundreds of hours into. You can get it on sale often, so pick a copy up. It's worth at least one (hundred) playthroughs.
I lost the ability to play this game because i was presented with unacceptable new EULA..
Borderlands 2 is the definitive Borderlands experience. Vast improvement over the first installment and an overwhelmingly more enjoyable game than the third. 9/10 would 100% again.
