Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Sep 12 → 5.17/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good simple game to take your mind off of things. Not really a complaint but it would be nice if it was a little bit more difficult to progress because I have been flying through the game. Other wise no issues.
I love these kinds of simulator games. Unlike Fast Food Simulator, you can get employees to do most of the work. This is the perfect game if you like being able to run your own business but don't want to have to do all the jobs required yourself.
I think the name is a little misleading, if you're expecting a somewhat serious management game then this isn't it. It's very much a cosy job sim, busy work without any real pressure or difficulty to just kinda sat back and vibe with. There's a lot to like if that's the kind of thing you're looking for, the controls work well, it's easy to place shelves and other objects where you want, there's a decent level of customisation and it's kinda zen to just sit on the till and ring people up. But yeah there's no real management or simulation aspect, the end of the day summary tells you profit and such but there's no breakdown on which book is the most popular or anything like that. Bookshops in the real world would **KILL** for this kind of foot traffic and everyone who comes in buys something, often six, seven or twelve things and they're not beyond buying multiples of the same book. Here's a tip, hire stockers, you'll need em with the amount of inventory you go through. The 1.0 update added flyers you can hand out to passerbys and I honestly have no idea why, there is literally never a time you'd need that. You hire staff and can assign them to either stock shelves or man the till and they'll gradually level up and get quicker at it but they don't need breaks or days off or anything like that. Customers are kind of lifeless, you can recommend them books but again I don't know why, you don't get a sense that they have specific preferences or anything, everyone buys so much stuff. There's a cafe you can add to your shop that's kind of neat but the mechanics for serving are a bit fiddly, you have to "exit" the register to grab a coffee or whatever. Also going back to the customer thing, people will come in and order and maybe they'll sit at a table but it's always a single customer and they just sit, drink and leave, you don't get groups, they don't talk to anyone, things like that. Also the rare books thing is kind of an interesting idea but it's very odd, you order boxes of used books and open them, maybe you'll find a signed copy or a special book that increases sales by 5% or something but it opens like a trading card pack or something, like TCG Card Shop Simulator, but like...I dunno, scrolling through the books and seeing a First Edition of Lord of the Bling isn't really exciting or interesting like getting a rare trading card in that game but you need to go through that animation every single time you open a box. It also likes to remove the rare books from the book and then drop those and the box on the floor so you need to pick it all up again, it's just very odd. Like I say it's fun, it's chill, I've put 30 hours into it and enjoyed it a lot and you're looking for a nice cosy game to just put on for a bit it fits the bill but if you want a management game this probably isn't it.
