Книга Теней — средней руки игрушка, больше похожая на заявку для конкурса, чем на полновесное творение. Несмотря на то, что по скринам это 3д адвенчура, по факту тут скорее пазл, с возможностью перемещения между сценами. Игрушка короткая, и вполне проходима меньше чем за полчаса, а если знать пароль от библиотеки (на второе прохождение например), то и за пару минут. + + пазлы в целом неплохие. + быстрые достижения. − − сюжет явно для галочки. − нет возможности перемотать текст, это раздражает. − стандартные ассеты для движка. − перемещение между сценами медленное. − язык повествования слегка корявый. Как итог: по-хорошему тут должен быть нейтральный палец, но пусть будет палец вверх, раз нет нейтрального. Покупать за полную стоимость я бы такое не стал, по сильной скидке… может быть, хотя не уверен. Играется норм, но на полноценную игру не тянет. [h1]*Book of Shadows* - Zurück mit dir in den Schatten![/h1] Also das Teil im Vollpreis ist eine echte Frechheit und selbst im Sale Abzocke. Jedes kostenlos auf Steam erhältliche Spiel und jede kostenlose Demo hat ein vielfaches mehr an Content! Hier wird etwas als ein Spiel deklariert, jede Menge Puzzles versprochen und eine spannende Geschichte angepriesen, die man für lange Zeit nicht vergessen wird. Von wegen! Die Story (sofern man sie überhaupt so nennen kann) ist mehr als ein Witz. Es gibt genau 3 billige Puzzles, dann noch einen Hammer, den man aufnehmen und nur weiterreichen muss, 3 Briefumschläge damit wir einen vollständigen Brief erhalten und dann sind wir auch schon am Ende angelangt, wo die einzige Aufgabe darin besteht, sich zu entscheiden, ob man das Zauberbuch dem Bösewicht gibt oder nicht. Das sind dann die zwei verschiedenen Enden. Nach 10 Minuten komplett abgefrühstückt! Von der deutschen Übersetzung will ich gar nicht erst reden, grauenhaft. Took me 24 min to play it till the end. Too easy and too short. Good for toddlers or really small children.

Very reluctantly, but I recommend it. It's very very short, completable in mere 12-15 minutes. The graphics are low poly but not terrible, the looped music starts to get annoying even after that short period of time and the dialogues are incredibly silly, written in broken English, however amusingly wholesome. Despite all this, though, I still had a bit of fun, and the price tag is pretty low, so if you have nothing better to do - it's alright. Just don't get your expectations too high.

[h1] Genre [/h1] Ein sehr schlechtes First Person Point & Click Adventure [h1] Story [/h1] Ein Böser Zauberer hat den Sheriff in der Stadt ermordet und nun dessen Gestalt angenommen. Dieser beauftragt uns nun ein Buch aus der Bibliothek zu holen um es ihm zu übergeben [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Das Spiel ist super kurz & sehr simpel. Unten auf der Shop Seite wird einem versprochen das es eine Spannende Geschichte ist mit sehr vielen Rätseln. Dies ist aber überhaupt nicht der Fall. Die Geschichte ist total simpel und meiner Meinung nach überhaupt nicht passend. Was macht ein Zauberbuch in der Wild West Stadt? Es gibt auch nur 2 kleine Rätsel und nur 2 oder 3 Gegenstände die man finden muss. Auch das Gameplay selbst fühlt sich unsauber an. Wir klicken lediglich mit der Linken Maustaste auf gekennzeichnete Pfeile auf dem Boden um in die Richtung zu gehen. jedesmal wenn man irgendwas anklick z.B. den Safe muss man die "ESC" Taste drücken um wieder heraus zu zoomen. Warum nicht einfach mit der rechten Maustaste? Aber naja man hat das komplette Spiel sowieso in gut 10-15 Minuten durch gespielt. Die Deutsche Übersetzung ist Fürchterlich und an manchen stellen nichtmal übersetzt, da steht dann plötzlich Englischer Text. Zudem ist der Text nicht wegklickbar sondern man muss warten bis dieser von selbst weg geht. Ich hasse das wenn Entwickler das machen. Mal ist der Text viel zu schnell und dann wiederrum dauert es ewig bis es weiter geht. Warum es nicht einfach so machen, das man den Text selber wegklicken kann. Musik ist auch eher auf der Nervigen Seite [h1] Achievements [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 10 Erfolge. Hierfür muss man das Spiel einfach nur durchspielen. Dies muss man allerdings 2 mal tun, für die beiden Endings [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Achievements - Schwache Story - Story & Charaktere passen nicht zum Setting (Ein Zauberer sucht ein Buch in einer Wild West Stadt) - Es gibt nur 2 Rätsel im Spiel und nichts "Lots of Puzzles" wie es hier auf der Shop Seite steht - Fürchterliche Deutsche Text Übersetzung - Musik wird nach kurzer Zeit Nervig - Merkwürdige Steuerung (ESC Taste um aus Bereichen herauszuzoomen, statt Rechte Maustaste was wohl deutlich simpler wäre) [h1] Fazit [/h1] Einfach nur ein hingeklatschtes Spiel. Es wird einem auf der Shop Seite eine Gute Story mit vielen Rätseln versprochen aber dies ist ganz und gar nicht der Fall. Hier nervt einfach alles. Es gibt nur 2 Rätsel, die Musik fängt nach kurzer Zeit an zu nerven, die Steuerung ist merkwürdig und Die Story & das Setting passen irgendwie, meiner Meinung nach so gut wie gar nicht zusammen. In this case, "Polygon Western - Low Poly 3D Art Pack" is just an asset pack including a series of "western" themed 3D low poly characters and assets, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Enoops.

This is a short and simple point and click game. There really isn't much to do but to click on random things. If there is something you don't need yet, it will let you know. This is perfect for easy achievements but don't buy it only for that reason (unless it is on sale). The story is... odd to say the least. Graphics are alright, music gets annoying, and it can be hard to understand one of the puzzles. I will admit, there was one object that was hard to find but it is only needed for the "true ending." Overall, it's an okay game, but I wouldn't recommend it.
