Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 56.83/day in the week to Jul 17 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I didn't like the original cultist sim, but something about this game really caught me. It's quiet, slightly somber, and has that nice edge of occult goodness you expect from the company/store page. If you like organizing things, solving obtuse puzzles, and timers boy do I have a game for you.

OK, so this game is a great puzzle/item management/craft simulator but definitely not for everyone especially for teens who play modern games which mostly have tons of QoL features. This game does NOT provide

deep tutorial.
detailed explanation for anything.
in game note or tag.
in game search function.
obvious recipes for crafting.
You can say this game horribly lacks in game QoL features. Yes... kinda but very strangely, the core enjoyment of this game all comes from there. For example, placement is one of the most important aspect in the game. If you miss this concept, you'll suffer a lot. I did and learned a lot. Now I'm playing this game better than before. I've played tons of games but I never experience this kind of feeling. It's very strange but somehow it's so enjoyable and addictive to find my own solution to fight against those in game limitations. I believe that Devs deliberately didn't implement those QoL features so this game shines by very unique way. If you're a type of person who write your own map while playing FC Wizardry, this game is definitely for you. But don't worry. I never use a spreadsheet, wiki nor a note. I ignore most of lores because I don't like reading tons of texts + it's actually too difficult for me to understand (I'm learning English now). Still I enjoyed the game so much. If you try to play this game, my advice is "Play carefully and patiently".
9/10
An amazing experience if you like organization and deep diving into strange and unique lore. Some might find it boring, but it's my jam.
前期玩得太压缩时间了,其实没必要,猛猛走事件就行,时间好宽裕,本作节奏好休闲,开开沙龙喝喝茶,钱都用不完. 另外智慧之书有线就要跳,不然完不成全部满级
I can see why people kinda hate it because of how complicate this is as a puzzle. Using wiki and asking community is probably a must to be able to having fun playing this game. It is a game definitely not friendly to a total beginner or blind playthrough with such vague tutorial, lore, and UI. However, it is actually in fact a math game! I love crafting, cooking, and resource management system with beautiful art, nice music, and cozy but still cryptic vibe! I love grinding! I can play this forever! Compared to the HARDCORE and STRESSFUL gameplay in Cultist Simulator, Book of Hours is pretty much better.
