RPG Bonds of the Skies. It's a little solid JRPG. If you are interested in mobile JRPG games, you may know KEMCO's reputation. KEMCO has been releasing nice mobile JRPG games. Recently, this publisher began porting their publishing games to multiple platforms like Steam, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. It is welcomed to be able to meet these nice JRPG style games that remind us of the classic JRPG again. This game features a fantasy story about friendship between humans and gods. As time goes by, the influence of the Grimoas(Spirits) has began to diminish in everyday life. But fateful events always happen suddenly. Eil, the main character, was on his way to his Coming-of-Age ceremony, but his village was attacked by demons and swept into the flame. To solve this confusion, Eil makes a contract with Nogard, the Air Grimoa, to save people. To prevent the evil threats from spreading around the world, you and Nogard have an adventure to find more Grimoas friends. You will meet varios Grimoas with your human colleagues through these adventures.
Pros

Nice Anime & Pixel Artworks
Easy to Understand Gameplay
Fast Paced Open World RPG
Cons

Rough Translation Quality
No Character Voice Supported
Too Many Random Enemy Encounters

*Conclusion: RPG Bonds of the Skies. It is a classic JRPG style game with no particular drawbacks. Of course, as mentioned earlier, there are some deficiencies, but they are not fatal. Although the original version of the game has been around 5 years since its launch, it is a proven game that has already gained some popularity on the mobile game market. So if you are looking for a classic JPRG style game that you can casually enjoy, this game can be a good choice. Hope that more KEMCO's publishing games will be available on Steam too. This felt like a down to earth 16bit era rpg in the vein of the snes classics. I know Kemco is accused of making mobile shovelware rpgs but I actually enjoy this one a lot. Almost feels like a loose gba sequel to Skies of Arcadia for sega dreamcast. Except it could def use more airships.
I really tried to like this but the rough translation threw me off. There is also just one portrait per main character in the game. They seem stiff and look as though a 14 year old drew them. I'm a fan of KEMCO's other games but this is just bad. Quite a shame really. I like the pixelated artstyle of the game.
This is a review that I wish I could put a neutral for. Since even though this KT game does a lot of things right, it does one big thing wrong. The gameplay loop in this is phenomenal, one of the best I've experienced in ages. I loved it. However the true final boss kind of soured it for me. Since she is so dang strong that without an excessive amount of grinding, it felt kind of like I hit an impassable brick wall. This game by far has one of the best systems implemented in a KT game and you want to know why? There's no secondary currency. You don't have to worry about grinding enemies to get enough points for a second playthrough! That's the biggest upside. Plus the story in and of itsself is pretty neat. But again the true finale kind of ruins all the good things this does.
Keine Mausunterstützung das geht schon mal gar nicht.
A fairly short and easy JRPG. Great for when you have 8-ish hours over and need to pass the time. Decent story, good writing, very easy combat. 7/10
what the hell is this game lamao
For the record: I played this game for 6 1/2 hours....after that I couldn't care anymore. The gameplay was so boring or better said without anything exciting (and that's not counting that my party members were over level 60 without much grinding). Heck, I should read some reviews before buying those games ;-) I mean if even the premier fan site for Kemco games gives this one of the lowest votings......
