About

From the creators of Rise of the Triad and legendary game maker 3D Realms comes Bombshell, an action shooter game. Bomb disposal technician turned mercenary for hire, Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison must strong-arm her way across 4 planets in an Unreal Engine-powered galactic adventure to rescue the president from an apocalyptic alien threat. With out-of-this-world enemies, a never-before-seen arsenal of devastating weaponry and a host of genre-crossing mechanics, Bombshell is set to blow you away.
History in the Breaking
Be part of Bombshell's debut as she fights to save the president and her people from a maniac's mechanical monstrosity.
Brave New Worlds
Traverse the dying world of Kyrron as it's consumed by its neighboring sun, discover the secrets of a civilization frozen in time on the distant world of Zeroth and travel to the epitome of technology -- a villain's vision which threatens to consume all that exists.
Robot-Armed and Dangerous
Shell, shock and shatter your way through vicious, bloodthirsty predators, an augmented alien species, and the remnants of an ancient race re-animated, with more than 10 weaponized arm modifications.
Heavy Handed
Fierce finishing moves and interactive environments make Bombshell as dynamic as she is deadly.
Isometric Ingenuity
Brilliantly brutal isometric shooting layered with some classic role-playing mechanics, including experience points, upgrades, side quests, and non-linear levels. All with a twist of first-person shooter mechanics.
What Are You Lookin' At?
Yeah, she has a robot arm. Deal with it.

It's an "ok" game. It's filled with bugs, I lost many lives because of them, but still have some fun playing it. Too bad the game is abandoned and it seems that we are never going to get the promised "super patch" that was going to fix everything. Game looked promising, but needs A LOT of polish I say if it's on discount, and you don't mind rage quitting some times with some bugs... go for it. But don't expect something great.
Bombshell is a game that was released in peak third wave feminism, back in 2016. It features stereotypical "strong, independent woman" character, who belittles men around her, and bosses them around. I wondered if there is any connection with the developers of another game called Ion Fury, which caught the heat from the globalist leftists, activists who do not even play games, for that famous "ogay" joke (gone, but not forgotten). That studio bent the knee, then faced the real, much bigger backlash from the actual players. They then reversed their bent knee decision, but for some of us it was too late. You bend the knee to the globalist left, you get the ♥♥♥♥ out. Apparently, the only connection between these two studios is their publisher - 3D Realms. Why do I mention all of this? This protagonist, Bombshell, uses a weapon called Ion Fury in this game, that is why I made the conclusion that they are related somehow. Yes, in fact, both games feature the same protagonist - Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison. Another connection, besides the same publisher. If we look past all of that, we see a third person game from isometric perspective. And I like that, honestly. It is an Action game, and action packed with some good music. The main menu music is pure Heavy Metal. Like, real Heavy Metal. Not Mallcore, nor Grunge, nor Rock, nor Punk, nor Alternative, nor Experimental, but Heavy Metal. Those main menu compositions are done in Power Metal and Symphonic Metal styles, and they sound great. During the in-game action, while obliterating and butchering the enemies, Djent music is played. It sounds like Meshuggah's (Djent band) compositions straight from ObZen album. I noticed that developers are big Iron Maiden fans (Heavy Metal band that players Melodic Heavy Metal), since the achievements have many references to the titles of Iron Maiden's albums and songs. Bobmshell has prosthetic metal arm (Heavy Metal arm), and uses it to mount weapons like shotgun, minigun (called maxigun in-game, because it sounds more Heavy Metal), plasma weapons, rocket launchers, and so on. By levelling up she gains skill points, which can be used to increase her energy shield, health, improvements to dodge, and few more stats like that. Dead enemies release keys, which are the in-game currency. it is used to purchase ammunition and to upgrade weapons. Each weapon has the upgrade tree, with its own beneficial perks. They branch out into two directions, after the initial 2 common upgrades. There game does not have complexity of an ARPG, when it comes to the character upgrades. I did not follow the story, I went in for the action, since I do not care much for whatever is going on in the game, written by a bunch of feminists. The combat is ok, the music is great, weapon variety and upgrades are decent, but everything else is not. Maps look literally the same, I mean the ambient. Levels design looks the same. Player has lots of backtracking on a single map in every level. Go to point A, now to point B, now to point C. Now go back to point B, which unlocks the next part of the map. Now go to point A, then go to B, then go back to A, then go to C, then go back to B, and so on. It becomes boring fast. Enemy variety is not diverse enough in first 3 hours of gameplay. I don't know if more enemies appear through the game, but what I experienced so far is nothing but boredom. I do not recommend it.
This game feels like the 90s and 2000s shooters all over again. Although there are many bugs, sometimes game breaking. Overall graphics are among the best for a UE3 game and gameplay is well polished. The environments are very detailed and the artwork is excellent, the story is passable but the gameplay is very satisfying. I would recommend giving it a playthrough.
Genuinely one of the most bland and forgettable top down shooter I've played, and considering the high production value it's a bit of a shame, however everything about actually playing the game is so meh, worst part is the finishers you'd think dismembering something would feel good but no it feels like someone is ripping a cardboard cut-out and you're forced to watch. Go play Ion Fury instead, that's actually good.
very bad game with little to no story all action go from 1 room to the other kill enemy but its still not as bad as bullet witch :) rate 2/10 the one steam game that never goes on sale I managed to finish it its related to Ion fury
Rating: 5/10 I wanted to give this a 7, but one lingering and very serious bug drags the whole experience down. The game will run perfectly fine for about 5 minutes, then suddenly slow to a crawl while the audio becomes heavily distorted. The only fix is quitting and restarting the game—after which it works fine again… until the issue repeats. I had to do this over and over. From what I’ve seen, this doesn’t seem to affect the console versions, which makes the PC version especially frustrating. For context, my PC is not the issue: RTX 4090 Ryzen 9 5950X 64GB RAM @ 3600MHz 1000W Gold PSU This shouldn’t be happening on hardware like this. Honestly, Bombshell feels like a game you rent, play once, and move on from. At $34.99, it’s absolutely not worth the asking price. This feels more like a $5 experience at best. If you’re determined to play it, you’re probably better off getting it on console. But frankly, your money is better spent on Ion Fury or Phantom Fury, which deliver a far better experience overall.
A slick twin-stick, isometric action shooter game with some light rpg mechanics in the form of linear questing and skill trees sprinkled in. You play Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison, former bomb disposal technician turned mercenary, in an interplanetary adventure to rescue the president from an apocalyptic alien threat. The story doesn't take itself too seriously, and I wouldn't call it a must-see experience. I did find it enjoyable in a campy sort of way, thanks to some funny one-liners and the back-and-forth you have with your robot buddy Amiga. The best part of this game is the movement and combat, which feels both smooth and precise. Shelly can jump, strafe and dash, as well as hotswap on-the-fly between 10 customisable weapons using Amiga, her transformable bionic arm. Once you get the hang of aiming and dodging, combat has a very nice flow to it. There is plenty of eye candy to enjoy from the weapon effects and exploded enemy corpses flying all over the place. In between the combat, there are moments involving light platforming or puzzle-solving that break things up and keep it fresh. Some puzzles required controlling Amiga and Shelly separately, which was an interesting diversion. Boss fights were also suitably grand and made for a satisfying end to a chapter. Bombshell's simple but satisfying gameplay makes it a game that is easy to jump into and fun to progress.
I'll be short this time with reviews... 'cause "this" made me totally speechless. I describe to you, reader, how bad it is in just a few comparisson without even a droplet of irony nor exaggerating things (Trust me, I'm not joking here...) - Overwatch 2 at the first hours of it's release on Steam deserves better reviews than "this"... - If devs would pay me 5-10 bucks for naming every single bug from minor to major (there's way more major bugs than minors...) I've encounter in a SINGLE playthrough, I would be already as rich as Elon Musk, if not richer. - Even console commands tend to often bug out in it. Also, as in game's manual written, they're, ehm... "very proud" of this creation... ...ʰᵒʷ ᵇᵃᵈ ᵉˣᶦˢᵗᵃⁿᶜᵉ ᶠᵒʳ ᵗʰᵉᵐ ʰᵃᵈ ᵗᵒ ᵇᵉ ᵗᵒ ᵐᵃᵏᵉ ᵗʰᵉᵐ ᶠᵉᵉˡ ᵃᵇᵒᵘᵗ ᶦᵗ ᵗʰᶦˢ ʷᵃʸˀ... P.S. After playing it, I built a strong feeling that persons behind this have some kind of critical stages of intellectual disabilities and/or mental disorders. So I'm really sorry to be this rude with this attempt of making video game if my assumptions are right... If you have spare money, I strongly recommend you to find local organization that helps people with different mental, genetic and intellectual disorders and donate directly to them. Any amount is great & helpful.
okay game but its heavy with glithes needs some updates ..
