About
Russia, May 1918. In the midst of a civil war, the Bolsheviks have recently seized power. Tsar Nicholas II has abdicated the throne, and has been placed under house arrest in Alexander Palace. You're a diplomat sent to negotiate with the new regime, but instead are suspected of being a spy. Thrown into prison, you face a grim fate. But one night, you have a nightmare. A gruesome scene - a dark, dingy basement, covered in blood, with walls covered in bullet holes. Seeing dead bodies of young women and men, you realise it's the Tsar's family. Waking up in a cold sweat, you make a decision. When the morning guard comes in to check on you, you'll kill him, take his gun and make your escape. The Tsar needs you.

A nice wholesome orthodox christian game. I always thought there was plenty of games for killing nazis, but not enough for commies. Finally a game comes along to fill that void
"RAW MILK GRANTS YOU INVULNERABILITY" Lmao yea. This is a certified Aryan classic right here. About time we get a game where we fight the actual bad guys.
Amazing retro-styled boomer shooter with modern flourishes that makes the games accessible and fun! Totally recommend this title, support the devs - buy it today.
Based. We need more media bringing to light the evils of the Bolsheviks.

B A S E D Save Tsar Nikolai II and his beautiful family from the bolshevik filth
So First off i want to say that this game is developed by my brother by himself and for him this has been a passion project and a love letter of his to Wolf 3D a game from both our childhood that had big impact on both of us. Bolsh 3D feel solid to play as a retro throwback shooter, certainly not flawless but I would be hard pressed to say that of any game i have played. The difference is its a game developed by 1 person, no team of people, he didn't just flip assets off a assets shop like i have seen some people criticise about the game. I sure as hell could never develop anything like this and i tell you what i have also played worse games from developers ive loved. It is a game that scratches a specific itch, it is not going to be for everyone but to me I am happy to drop a few dollars down and show my support for it. Also I can confirm that it runs smoothly on the Steam Deck.
I hate the Bolsheviks the most murderous group in WW2
This guy is way more based than blow job blaskowicz
A lot of the reviews for this game are blindly praising it simply because the Dev's worldview aligns with theirs. I think its a pretty good game, but I want to actually critique it in this review: Pros: -Better looking than the Wolfenstein 3D (much more variety in the textures specifically). -Creative level themes, despite the limitations of the engine (the Police Station & Train levels really stood out in this regard). -Good level design in terms of secrets/progression. -Good music/sound design. -Perfect length. -Simple but satisfying gunplay. Cons: -A bit of art-style incongruity, E.g. Differing levels of detail between enemies/environment and black outlines on some sprites, soft outlines on others. -Weird font formatting. -Modified AI art is hit or miss. -Some bugs. Conclusion: Overall it's definitely a solid game, and imo lot more fun than the game it's based on, but I think the art could've used some more time in oven.
