📝 Main Pros, Cons, and Suggestions:
🟩 Pros: + Skill use on mouse location + A large assortment of characters and maps 🟥 Cons: - Brings nothing unique - Completing a run is anticlimactic - % upgrades don’t calculate correctly - Hit detection is based on where you are when the enemy starts their attack animation rather than where you are once the animation ends 🏷️ Suggestions: ~ Auto aim ~ Adjustable cursor colour and size ~ Add a boss at the 30 minute mark ~ Object transparency when overlapping the character
A traditional VS like experience
Nyran Survivors is a traditional VS like, which while enjoyable, doesn’t bring anything new to the table. Personally, I enjoyed the art style, along with how balanced everything felt. While I do enjoy overpowered skills, I eventually end up following the same build, ruining my experience. My experience with Nyran Survivors was good, however, there wasn’t enough to keep me going. The dopamine hit I feel in other VS likes wasn’t felt here and I’m not sure why. It could be due to the lack of flashy skills which feel overpowered, or what felt like a slower pace gameplay experience. Ultimately, it’s not a bad game and I do recommend it to those who like the genre. If you’re expecting a fresh experience however, I’d look elsewhere. Nyran Survivors follows the formula to a T without innovating in any meaningful or notable way. The usage of AI generative graphics is something instantly turning me off, no matter how good a game is. I didn't really have fun and was constantly waiting for something to happen. It feels like the developer wants to tap into the genre, but there isn't really anything unique to it. I've played a lot of 'bullet heavens' and this is not one that I particularly enjoyed or would return to.
Written By Hidden Gems Review : https://store.steampowered.com/curator/38624426/, Follow me!
Nyran Survivors is a roguelite game. Is the classic survivors like in 3D, there isn't much inovation in comparation with other survivors like but it's well designed and balanced with a big variety of skills classes and builds so it's fun with high replay value.
Very Nice, good replay value for under 10$, that is a true bonus! Blockhead APPROVED!!! Game has great potential. Kinda like soulstone survivors with a minecraft/roblox aesthetic. Few things I'd like to see in future updates: - actual damage per second summary accessible during and after the game (not just damage amount) - need cursor customisation - bigger and brighter so it doesnt get lost so often - health bar over the character head, or at least the option to have one - perhaps i am not far enough yet and this is already in the game at later stages but a leech mechanic would be nice (apart from elite kills, like, just generic leech) - possibly bit better feedback on when you take damage - enemy projectiles are sometimes pretty small and definitely get lost in the mayhem, the orange fireball things are fine but the tiny white arrows can be hard to see - the ability to toggle auto-aim. i am good to manually aim with elites/bosses but when its just trash mobs i'd love to be able to have a rest and let the game aim (soulstone and halls of torment both have this qol feature) - when my character goes behind buildings/walls we lose him/her, an outline would be great
Сырая, но разраб отзывчив и допиливает игру
Вполне неплохой рогалик)

Probably one of the most repetitive, lackluster and grindy survivors-like games out there. Gameplay loop is like this. You start a level. go around the level to smash several boxes with gold and then for the rest 15 or 30 minutes (depending which mode you choose) you just run around in a circle while dashing out of red circles and lines that elite enemies spawn and kill the same enemies over and over again. And every 10-15 seconds you level up to choose a stat or a skill from the same pool that all characters have. That's your game. Then you need to level up a character to max lvl (lvl40) in order to unlock all available levels. There are 6 levels overall. Each of them have different materials that can drop in order for you to invest in leveling up your character(s). And you need like good 10h to reach the max level. And it's only for 1 character. If you want to level up all 11 characters - you'll need to farm the same materials once again. So to max every single one and get achievements for each one you\ll need to spend at least 100h. By then you should unlock all achivements except the ones where you need to kill loot goblins. Those usually spanw like 1-3 per run. So. For you to kill 500 of them... You'll need to farm for more than 100h maybe even 200h. Ridiculous. By the way, every single arena is very small. A few screens in size. There is no exploration, nothing. Just run around in a circle for 100h. Even a brain-damaged monkey would get fatally bored by then. Avoid like a plague.
