added paid mods with microtransaction coins just to buy hats, shirts, and bike parts. This is so pathetic.
To the people writing such negative reviews with 0-5 hours of gameplay on this....your review is invalid. I have been playing this game since xbox had BMX Pipe and from there graduated into pc and have been playing Streets since day one release. I can say that this game has had its ups and downs but what the people don't realize is that its NOT EA making this game, and expectations are incredibly high for those people. This game has come a long way since its release, and I'm not going to say it was all good but the game itself is what a lot of us have been asking and wishing for, and almost brings us back to Dave Mirra's freestyle bmx days. Seeing the game from Pipe and now the progression we have been seeing on Streets, I can comfortably say this game is easily a great game for anyone with the slightest interest. This game is a BMX SIM, not and arcade style like Tony Hawk pro skater. Consider its similarities to Skate. for the functionality aspect. If anyone is curious about this game just hop on Youtube and watch gameplay to help justify your decision. I bought this game at launch for $39.99, and in all honesty i got my moneys worth for it, but for the price it is at now, 1000% worth the $25.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

Added micro transactions to basically everything, wouldn't even bother anymore.

PAID MODS ? Bruh ♥♥♥♥ yall
Don't buy! Yet another abandoned game by mashed. Dev makes game after game and just leaves each one in the dust of the next, has horrible communication, dose not plan anything, he don't release patch notes or any information to the community. His latest addition was an EA skate style currency system which is a last attempt to milk what little is left of his audience. This game is sadly the best BMX game we have currently but man it had the potential to something so much more.
Got this game a couple weeks before access to V1 randomly broke, I was having a lot of fun cruising around the OG map slowly learning new tricks and mechanics by beating the challenges. I was also really enjoying collecting bike parts by exploring and doing challenges, build one of my 3 bikes to look more and more like my real bike as I found parts. Then they just broke/removed access to V1, never mentioned anything about it and have been super cryptic about any updates since then. Now their most recent "major" update is that they are adding paid mods to the game. Super disappointing to have the focus be on something like that when the game doesn't even have a proper map of it's own, or any type of story/campaign. The new physics are cool but this is literally just a tech demo for that at this point. Definitely do not recommend picking this game up until the developer shows any signs of caring about how empty this game is.
I give up on this game, it sucks now. it wont even allow me to select the doomsday version. i built a pc just for this game. about once a week for the last few months i jump on and i cant get used to it. i miss the OG game play and the realistic tricks. the new no footed cans are so weird looking amongst many others. im a bmx rider and i guess ill just stick to that and get my refund if they allow me, it been a while.
charging for mods is OMEGA cringe
