I bought this a long time ago and really liked it back then. The game had a huge freeroam map with tons of challenges and hidden gear boxes to find. Sadly, I had to refund it because it didn’t run very well on my PC at the time. Yesterday I found the game again, bought it instantly, and installed it right away. I was super hyped, thinking about how good it must be nowadays. But honestly, I got disappointed pretty fast. All the gear is already unlocked now, there are no challenges left, and those challenges actually helped a lot with learning tricks and getting better at the game overall. The worst part is that the big freeroam map is gone too, so there’s basically nothing to do except tricks. Now it’s just a few bmx parks to mess around in, and those get boring really fast. Yeah, there might be mods for the game, but I still wouldn’t buy it again for the same price in its current state.

Overall game is pretty decent, some animations are a bit jank but its nothing to be upset about. Character customization is broken and doesnt really work but theres some presets you can just chuck on. BMX customization is honestly really good, heaps and heaps of options. Modding the game (custom maps) is supported and is honestly super super easy. Tricks are relatively simple and easy, maps feel good and performance is pretty good. I probably wouldn't say its worth $30 but i'd pay half for sure.
i really liked this game when i first got it, honestly inspired me to pick up a BMX bike irl. however the paid mods for every piece of useless gear is just horrible. i refuse to support that buisness model and Honestly it makes me wish i hadnt bought this game at all in the first place if i was supporting an Even worse buisness model than Skate. atleast all the content in that game were made by the devs and most of its free that you unlock. most of the paid mods on this were made by people who look like they are still learning to use blender. it all looks cheap and most of it is $3+ for a single thing like a shirt.
its fun - the trails are the most fun imo - if it had online multiplayer it would be so much better, they need to implement it!
BMX Disaster My advice, go buy a real BMX and go ride it. This game has had too many chances to improve.
I have thousands of hours in various video games. over a thousand games in just my steam library alone. I grew up on games like THPS, Skate and Dave Mirras BMX. I have plenty of "sports themed" games in my library. This game has the WORST pump mechanics that I have ever had the displeasure of trying to figure out. I have played the tutorial multiple times and have practiced on every level trying to find the right timing on "pumping" If I have to work this hard to enjoy a game. You probably don't have a good game. The fact that this game has a very positive rating currently is mind blowing to me. I would not be surprised to find out that they are paid reviews. TLDR; Graphics: Great Customability Options: Not Great. Mechanics: Straight up terrible.
Demo was objectively a better game, if you are looking to play something like this, play that
VERY GOOD AND TUFF
why is the dev so insane man he changes everything like every update and nothing is set in stone, he added microtransactions for some reason. this is like the dam yandere sim on bmx games.
Game is pretty fun then the micro transactions came. I donated on the early version of the game where it gave me 100 credits. Now they are all gone and the micro bike they teased on fb is only accessible through the micro transactions which is stupid then same thing with the new map you have to buy it. They need to do better. Thought you would be able to slowly get credits by playing and smashing them since they have them on the main maps but thats not the case.
