one of the greatest games ive ever played
The game is too random. It doesn't respect your time. I kept notes on paper, wrote clues from here and there, things from books that maybe would help in a future puzzle. Almost three pages of notes and a bunch of screenshots. That was actually fun. But I wasted more hours than I should, drafting useless rooms and deadends. Not been able to find the item I was looking for that would REALLY help the run was very frustrating. After some good rng I finally reached the end... Of course it was not the end. The game has a thousand more hours of content, most of them empty. The things the game expects from you to figure out.... It's not even funny. You literally need the stars to align in order to progress in some cases... and thats the easy part. It's not for everyone, definitely not for me. Can't recommend.
This game is incredible, just get it and play it blind, trust! You will know within the two hour refund window whether or not its for you. Don't google anything, don't spoil anything for yourself, its an incredible incredible puzzle game. If that's your thing then you should get it, simple as
This was a nice game to play with your partner.
I know I have only just scratched the surface of this game but my god it's incredible. You want some notes.
This is a hard game to recommend. It is undoubtably a masterpiece and there is still so many secrets hidden within that people have not found. It is a game that is not meant to be finished but obsessed over. I can see someone playing this game for years and not feeling satisfied, feeling like there is more to find. The game itself is fun but you keep playing hoping to learn more about the world and the story and while you get a good narrative, some questions are left unanswered unless you keep looking. If you want to experience the best puzzle game I have ever played then I recommend it but don't expect to get all the answers when you are done with it. I certainly didn't.
Always something new
This is a good game. But not a great game. I've enjoyed my time with it, but there's a lot more to do and it the game design is not respectful of my time to go do it. I simply cannot understand why the drafting and limited resources like steps is still a thing after reaching the 46th room. You own the house now. Go nuts! I would have given the player an item to allow re-drafting an existing room on the fly, removed all resource costs, and then let them solve the - actually pretty clever! - puzzles in the order they wanted to do so. But by keeping the RNG, drafting, and resetting of items leaves the player in the position of needing to continue wasting time trying to line things up - yes, with more and more options to slightly mitigate the randomness - but not in a satisfying way. I regret that I can't bring myself to engage with it further. I've enjoyed my time, but no, I don't recommend it to others. At least not without this pretty significant disclaimer.
Slow build of discoveries, unique architectural strategy and daily resets to improve on each run. I'm only a few runs in, but this is already my new favorite strategy-puzzle game! Loving the roguelite structure.
