Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 9.86/day in the week to Aug 23 → 14.29/day in the week after.

Reviews
The game opens on a lie: "I want you to start fresh every day and not rely on previous successes" There is in fact a lot of meta progression, but a lot of it relies on random chance, or absurdly cryptic puzzles. I like the tactical housebuilding and I like at least half of the puzzles that I've seen so far, but it still makes for a frustrating experience when you know what you need to do, but the house refuses to cooperate for over 5 runs. There are 2 good games here and they are strangling each other.
Some aspects of this game are a bit frustrating or underwhelming - be it the random nature of the each run or narrative that is only told through notes and hints. However its a game that is like no other, a puzzle rougelike that does not get old. Really recommend if you're into both these things. And don't be afraid to check stuff on the internet if you're not hardcorde about reading every note throughly.

Every market we collect.
Same day: best AU #50, worst UK #79 · 4 markets collected
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The best game ever. Whether you play for 10 hours or 100, you will always be finding new things. I've seen so many people play this game for HOURS (more than I should admit), and I'm so glad to finally be able to "build my own deck/house" now that the color-blind accessibility setting is in the game!
A puzzle game unlike any other
TL;DR: If you love puzzle games, you have to try it out.

I truly love this game
I have spent 100 hours in this house and it was fantastic. Never before in a puzzle game had I spent hours just looking at my notes and screenshots trying to solve a mystery (thank god for the Steam Notes feature) The sheer amount of puzzles in this game is crazy. Every time you think you're finally getting to the end of your thread you discover even more clues leading to even more puzzles. The lore is also way deeper than I first expected, which made me really care about solving these puzzles, but...
...I also deeply hate this game
The very fact that this game is a roguelike creates one gigantic issue: the RNG. There can sometimes be multiple hours between the moment you've figured out how to interpret a clue and the moment you can actually act on it. Out of my 100 hours, I believe only 50 of them were spent on the puzzles. The other half was just me trying to fight against the RNG one way or another. And if it happens that you were mistaken, several more hours to try another theory. This can be maddening. Don't get me wrong: the RNG has been quite fun for a good chunk of this time, and there are ways you can actually change the RNG too, but after so long the game ends up overstaying its welcome and what used to be a fun challenge became a chore I could not bother to deal with anymore.
I ended up not finishing the game...
...but I am definitely glad I played it. There is truly no other game like it, which is reason enough for puzzle game fans to try it out. Someone more stubborn than I (and with more free time) will definitely love discovering all of Mount Holly Estate's secrets.
I paid $30 but it keeps crashing. I can't even get through the first day before the game crashes and I lose my entire run.
I want to like this, but it's too long, too vague, too difficult and too repetitive.
one of the best puzzle games out there to date, get your pen & paper, this game will cure your tiktok brain
So difficult to notice signs provide so little progress. And then these painfully long dialogs. I wish there was a graphics free version with just squares, options and results. No dizzifying runs in trees towards the outer room, no blood thinning fountains during the load. Just draft and draw as intended but with desktop interface. But obviously not up for that.
