The greatest Dungeon Crawler of all time! (The Amiga version) ;) Sadly there's quite a few issues with the DOS version, mainly when it comes to co-op, not sure if these problems will occur for everyone, although after a restart, we still had these problems. People remembered the "welcome back" bug from single player, that has been patched, but that's nothing compared to how broken the co-op mode is. - Exiting towers would teleport a player out of the map - One tower had a blocked exit for a player - Limbs and heads would dismember at certain times and angles - Enemies entering the spot of a dead team would vanish - If a team died, a ghost of the player would be hovering - Crashes, extreme colour glitching at times. Although it made for a very different and entertaining playthrough; it's a shame that the DOS version clearly hadn't been play-tested properly upon release. Still a 10/10 game though, just stick to the flawless Amiga version if you can. :)

Fix the game or take it down from Steam please. This is not even playable....just ruins the good memories i had with the game many years ago. Was really happy to see it here on Steam and bought it instantly....but boy i got disappointed. The sound and multiplayer should work since this is what makes this game tick. At the moment this is almost an scam in my opinion.

It's a very old school dungeon crawler, that requires you to know and understand old school gaming mechanics, like reading the manual from start to finish because nothing is explained in game, and requires you to pull out an actual pen and paper to draw your maps out and other important information you might want to remember. If that is stuff you do not like to deal with, then stay away from this. I figured I would give it a try and see how well I could do, but I couldn't even get out of the starting area. I think I had found the door that leads to the exit, but it was locked and I could not find the key anywhere. I figured out how to move around and how to talk to NPCs and recruit them, but that was as far as I could get. This game might be just a little too old school for me. The controls are super clunky and have not aged well. I really had to turn my mouse sensitivity down as the game makes it really high. The game only plays in 320x320 with Dos Box, and the font choice can make it hard to read sometimes. It also sounds like from other reviews that this game has issues, and game breaking ones at that. I can't say, because I couldn't even get to the second area. Maybe some day I'll try going back to see if I can do better, but for now I have to pass. Like I said if you are someone that's used to how old school rpgs worked, then I would recommend checking it out, especially on a good sale. For more modern gamers out there, This is something you probably will not like. It's old school jank at it's finest.

This is a game from my childhood and I love it. So why cant I recommend it? Because the steam version got butchered and hard locked beyond the maze section. When traversing the tunnel with 2 spinners, instead of coming to the stairs on the other side you end up in a dead end, cutting 90% of the content. Also cant move with the keyboard, making movement extremely frustrating having to click with the mouse. And many more issues. (broken coop/cant disable music/etc) Refunding my 2 bucks and playing the free html version instead.

love this game but it crashes and I cannot save or play 2 player.

A great dungeon crawl game. I played this years ago and still playing it now on steam, that's how good it is. just one problem i found so far and that is: you cant turn off the music on the game, but turn off the sound and its great.

Amazing RPG!. You really get your monies worth from this puzzle solving dungeon maze game

In the 16 bit days,this was the best dungeon crawler around. Now it's showing its' age (just like me!),and it's extremely slow(also like me!). Rather than put any real effort into improving the graphics and sound,they've simply bundled dosbox with it-which means having to waste time selecting computer and graphics card type. Put simply,it's dated and just plain boring.

Con este juego no puedo ser objetivo. Lo descubrí a finales de los 80 en mi amstrad cpc 464 de cinta y se convirtió en mi juego favorito de siempre. También fue la razón por la que los juegos de rol y los dungeon crawlers concretamente son mi tipo de juego favorito de siempre. Una vez dicho esto hay que decir que te tienen que gustar los juegos antiguos y que no es tan vistoso como otros juegos de la época estilo la trilogía de Eye of the Beholder o el primer Lands of Lore. Los juegos originales estaban bugeados y de hecho este sigue con un bug que impide seguir jugando pero en uno de los posts la compañía ha puesto el parche para arreglarlo. Así he podido completar el juego con mi party favorita igual que hice hace años con la versión de amstrad cpd usando un emulador. Con esto se cierra el círculo muuuuchos años después. Alt, älter, ganz alt, unfassbar alt und lang her. War halt mein absolutes Lieblingsspiel in meiner Kindheit. Habs mir um 2€ wegen der Nostalgie Pur gekauft. Fehlte noch in meiner Sammlung. (Musste die DOSBBOX Tastatur auf US ändern um mit Keyboard spielen zu können, jetzt gehts) (beim "Welcome Back" Bug, Support anschreiben der hilft)
