I consider myself a fan of DOSMAN Games. I’ve played several of their titles. Sadly, Bloodmatch isn’t their best work. To its credit, the game does introduce some improvements over previous DOSMAN titles. The addition of a heavy attack mapped to the right mouse button is a nice touch, and there’s a more defined story this time around, complete with full voice acting. The voice work is pretty amateur, but honestly, I love it and think it has a lot of charm. Unfortunately, the gameplay is where things fall apart. While I understand the concept of being a gladiator fighting in an arena, most encounters quickly devolve into kiting enemies in circles. You’ll spend a lot of time holding S and A while holding your left mouse button, and it gets repetitive fast. I’d say over half the fights play out this way. Later in the game, I found myself skipping parts of the slave quarters and story just to complete the game as soon as possible. There are a few more challenging levels toward the end, and I wish more of the game leaned in that direction. Even the projectile-based enemies, while sometimes more annoying than difficult, at least add some variation. More arena hazards or dynamic elements could have gone a long way in making combat feel more engaging and strategic. As it stands, the gameplay feels pretty mindless and easier than other DOSMAN games I’ve played. Performance-wise, the game ran fine on my PC, and at $3.99 (or less on sale), it’s not a huge investment. Still, as much as it pains me to say it, I don’t think Bloodmatch is worth your time. Previous DOSMAN titles like Reverend, Satan, or even the original DOSMAN offer much more satisfying gameplay at the same price point. I’d skip this one.

combination of two things I really like, a boomer shooter and ancient Roman colosseum. This game has been fun. I like the melee combat. The only thing I'd say is that the bow is kind of overpowered and that once you get it, you've basically already won.

Fun and simple little gladiator game. Doesn't outstay its welcome another chill dosman game.

fun and simple and funny and pretty ladies also don't worry you can turn off shaking and bobbing now it just needs a brightness setting and maybe a endless mode or a mode to be able to choose your weapons instead of random each time and i may have not finished the last level yet but i had fun playing so yea i recommend this game

If it’s from Dosman Games, you already know what you’re signing up for. For $5 you get a simple, nostalgic FPS that feels like it crawled straight out of the 90's — in a good way. Jump in, stab stuff, move fast, repeat. The arenas can feel a bit repetitive, but they’re short enough that it never really gets boring. Weirdly enough, I spent a good amount of time staring at the roof in the first hub because the lighting actually looks really nice. For the price of a coffee, it’s hard to complain. If you like old-school shooters, give it a go. Tell them Malgora sent you. *poor goose*

If you have played other Dosman games, this is the same! Hit, move, hit, move! Then I got stuck on the wall which led to an untimely death.
