Liked Bloodlines you will like this.
I'm not much of a vampire fan. I sort of thing the genre sucks. Yeah. Yeah. Bad pun. I do like the game because i like dungeon runners. I played them back in the olden days, when a phone was in a booth or hanging from the wall, and a fast modem topped out at 14 k per second. This game procedurally creates dungeons for your vampire to explore. Though you are limited to a few preset faces, there are three vampire disciplines with different powers to choose.. Not for fans of deep stories. Game may suck for them.
juego mediocre
Very good! Played it first like 10 years ago. Still a charming game. Kinda scary, kinda funny, love it 😆 A guilty pleasure.
Game's Got Grit
Awesome vampire RPG that scratches the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines (VTMB) itch like no other. If you don't mind replaying VTMB, this game is for you. The fun comes from the character building, the NPCs you meet and interact with, and the storyline—not its graphics or gameplay. It also has great replayability thanks to the faction mechanics and the way your choices influence the story. The dungeons can be repetitive and occasionally feel like a slog, but you're not forced to do them, and there are plenty of other quests to keep you busy. The combat and graphics is serviceable, but the real strength of the game is its role-playing, characters, and branching story.
🧛Honest Trailers Parody
Honest Trailer Guy (Deep, Sarcastic Voice): From a small, independent studio with a development ambition that wildly outpaces its budget, comes a dark action role-playing game that promises you the eternal, gritty night of your dreams. This game's code is less stable than the timeline of this manga. Natsu Dragneel (Yelling over the Honest Trailer Guy): It has FIRE MAGIC! You forgot to mention the fire! I saw it! And a scary-looking cat! Happy (Swooping across the screen): Aye, sir! Honest Trailer Guy: (Sighing, trying to maintain composure) A game where the moral dilemmas are as dark and murky as the perpetually brown and grey sewer tunnels you will be spending most of your... Lucy Heartfilia (Interrupting, Enthusiastic): The non-linear narrative lets you forge your own path! It is an inspiring tale of a character fighting against fate and their own dark nature! Also, I hope they have constellations in their skybox! Honest Trailer Guy: I am trying to inject a little comedic cynicism here! Introducing BLOODLUST: SHADOWHUNTER! Exploration and Grinding (Footage shows awkward combat followed by a repetitive shot of a tunnel entrance.) Honest Trailer Guy: Enter a lost, shadow-veiled city terrorized by a powerful, yet somehow generic, vampire Emperor. This world is a huge, ambitious sandbox that feels vast, allowing you to explore the mysteriously deserted streets and... Gajeel Redfox (Gruffly, right next to the mic): I do not care about streets! Where is the metal? The character is a warrior, right? Where is the Iron Dragon Slayer Magic? If the weapons break, I will just eat them. Gehee. Levy McGarden (Poking Gajeel): The game has procedurally generated areas, which means infinite replayability! That is fantastic for lore discovery! I want to read the vampire constitution! Jet: It takes too long to load the next area! I would have already run through ten dungeons! Droy (Chewing loudly): What about the food drops? Do the rats drop good roast? Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki (Appearing with a flourish): One must seek the rare, velvety aroma of V A M P I R E M E N! I have bottled the essence of Ambition, a powerful P A R F U M! Bisca Connell (Whispering to Alzack): The constant running back and forth for materials is exactly why we need a proper teleportation Lacrima in this game. Honest Trailer Guy: (Whispering) Please stop asking about food and metal. It is primarily a blood magic game. Honest Trailer Guy: Your perseverance is rewarded with slightly higher numbers on your gear! Erza Scarlet (Appearing, fully armored): The ability to constantly re-equip and swap skills is excellent for adaptability. However, the breastplate clipping through the cape is a serious discipline issue. Evergreen (Flipping her hair): And the lighting is appalling! I cannot even see the character's gorgeous features! The shadow rendering makes every character model look like a blurry green goblin, not a dignified vampire! This needs fairy glitter! The Kindred Family and Control (The screen shows the "Sire Others" feature being used on a new minion.) Honest Trailer Guy: But the game's true unique selling point is the Embrace mechanic—biting your victims to build your own private family! This is a vampire curse, not a friendship bracelet! Juvia Lockser (Shrieking with Joy): It is a game about FAMILY and devotion! Juvia would make Gray Fullbuster her first Kindred! Gray Fullbuster (Muffled, from off-camera): Juvia, stop! That is the evil path! Zeref Dragneel (Appearing, calm and tragic): The protagonist should not seek power; they should seek freedom from the burden of their immortality. Mavis Vermillion (Floating in, ethereal and worried): But you must guide them with love! The guild is built on friendship, not fear! This 'Embrace' should be a choice of free will! Honest Trailer Guy: (Rubbing his temples so hard they might bleed) Stop making it about friendship! It is about telepathically controlling your family, cementing your rise through the vampire hierarchy against the powerful Emperor... Lyon Vastia (Stepping in dramatically): Gray, you fool! You must embrace this dark destiny! Only by becoming a creature of the night can you truly appreciate the pure, crystalline beauty of ice! And I will be the one to stop you... in the most tragic, loving way possible! Sherry Blendy (Crying dramatically): Oh, Lyon! This is the fate we were destined for! Everything in the world is moved by the strings of LOVE! I hope the emperor falls madly in love with the protagonist! Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki (Sniffing the air mysteriously): The telepathic control has a distinct, loyal M E N—a scent of devotion that even Juvia could appreciate! I call this one 'Obsession'! The Alliance Overload and Ultimate Power (Quick cuts of generic vampire guards being fought.) Honest Trailer Guy: So, you will have to navigate a complex set of alliances with the different vampire clans: Vurkas, Scades, and Furlores. It is not that complicated! Irene Belserion (Smooth, Arrogant): The system encourages players to embrace their superior nature and amass power through manipulation. It is simply the natural order. August (Standing regal and distant): Does the ShadowHunter understand the weight of their own history? August (Sighing): The Emperor's lack of respect for fundamental historical magic makes his downfall inevitable, regardless of the protagonist's path. Hades (Laughing maniacally): The Emperor Ranior is a foolish boy! True dark power requires absolute neglect of the rules! He needs more cannons! Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki (A sudden, loud whisper): The political intrigue is rich with M E N! The Furlores, the criminal clan, their scent is rough! This is my newest P A R F U M: 'Rebellion'! Mirajane Strauss (Sweetly, then with a sudden demonic edge): The ability to swap loyalties is fantastic; it reminds me of the lengths one must go to protect friends. Lisanna Strauss: Or you could just use Take Over Magic and become all the clans! No more political problems! Bisca Connell and Alzack Connell (Speaking at once, with a Western drawl): Bisca: If we join the ShadowHunter, we can protect the family! Alzack: I hope we can find more powerful guns! You mainly use swords, claws, and blood magic! A proper rifle is needed! Not these tiny, low-damage pistols! Kagura Mikazuchi (Serious): The sword is the only weapon needed for true justice. If you are a ShadowHunter, you must fulfill your duty with honor. Do not falter for power. Carla (Fussing): Why is everyone so enthusiastic about such a glitchy looking endeavor? Laxus Dreyar (Booming, off-camera): If he is an Emperor, he is weak. I will judge his power after I strike him with lightning. The Final Verdict (Overwhelmed) (The screen shows the main antagonist. The Fairy Tail members start talking over each other.) Honest Trailer Guy: (His voice is now a high-pitched, desperate whine) This is a good game! I promise! I am calling the Magical Council to end this file, this game, and possibly my entire career! So, get ready for a dark, ambitious, and wildly inconsistent action role-playing game that feels like it was lovingly developed in a garage. Honest Trailer Guy: (Slamming his fist on his studio desk) I have a master's degree in dramatic literature! Why am I being forced to endure this! Makarov Dreyar (Final booming voice, completely overriding the trailer): THE BONDS YOU MAKE ARE WHAT TRULY MATTER! GO FORTH, SHADOWHUNTER, AND FIND YOUR TRUE GUILD! Natsu, Gajeel, and Romeo (All at once): LET'S GO! LET'S FIND THAT GUILD! Juvia Lockser (Over the noise): Juvia will be the strongest minion for Gray Fullbuster! Honest Trailer Guy: (Screaming into the void) STOP INTERRUPTING ME! I AM THE NARRATOR! Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki (A final, soft whisper): M E N. Always M E N!
A really underrated gem! Highly reccomend.
I'm a huge fan of anything vampire related, so naturally I wanted to give this game a go when I saw it. I actually played its sequel first, Bloodlust Nemesis, but found this one to be my favorite of the two (then again, I don't really play a lot of dungeon crawlers, so maybe take my word with a grain of salt). Everyone and their brother has compared this thing to VTMB, but yeah, if you're looking for another vampire game set in a gothic dingy city then give it a shot. The mechanics take some getting used to though, and there's definitely has a fair bit of jank that can get pretty annoying. But if you can get past that stuff overall I'd say it's pretty enjoyable so far.
Love it or hate... it's a cult classic!
Se siente barato y es muy aburrido.
