About

Weird West legends meet eldritch horror in BLOOD WEST, an immersive stealth FPS. Become the Undead Gunslinger, doomed to roam the barren lands until he finds the means to purge their curse and free his soul. No, this isn’t your typical Wild West desperado redemption arc. This is a damnation arc.
The Canyons, the Swamp, and the Mountains. Each swarming with abominable monsters and unholy demons, these are open-ended worlds for you to explore freely at your own pace. It will take the player over 20 hours on average to complete all three scenarios, and over 35 if they want to see everything the barren lands have to offer.
Blood West is a stealth FPS inspired by the genre classics such as the Thief series (whose fans will be happy to hear the voice of Stephen Russell, the actor voicing the master-thief Garrett, returning here as the protagonist), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, or - from the contemporary catalog - Hunt: Showdown. The gameplay rewards the careful approach: scouting the area, stalking your enemies, and striking from the shadows. Can you figure out a way to clear a fort full of ghouls and monsters without raising an alarm?
The Barren Lands present the player with a nightmarish, twisted vision of the Wild West legends. The curse that has befallen the realm has corrupted every living thing, defiled the land itself, while summoning restless spirits and dark entities. In this mixture of gunslinger pulp and Lovecraftian horror, dark occult magick presents just as much of a threat as sudden lead poisoning.
In Blood West you will meet many colorful, yet strangely twisted, fully-voiced NPCs. Just as much prisoners of the Barren Lands as you are, they will sometimes share their unusual stories and send you on various missions. Play nice and they might reward you or become your allies. Cross them and risk their wrath.
The game won’t hold your hand. You’ll have to explore the land for yourself (buying a map from a vendor might prove useful!), and figure out your own way to approach quests. As you poke around the three expansive maps, keep an eye out for hidden places and secret stashes. There’s gold in the mountains! Fair warning - it’s probably cursed.
If sneaking around isn’t exactly your thing, or you feel that you have a power advantage over your enemies, you can always take the head-on approach and meet your enemies guns blazing. Blood West comes from the creators of the fan-favorite boomer shooter POSTAL: Brain Damaged, so much gratuitous fantasy violence and pixelated blood splatter is to be expected!
One man’s hell might be another hoarder’s paradise! From simple one-use items like bandages, through medical tinctures, explosives and incendiaries, straight to arcane artifacts that - once slotted - can change the way you play the game, the Barren Lands are just filled with STUFF. There are tons of useful items to discover, and there’s a special player’s stash crate for all those super-rare potions that you’ll hoard and never use.
A gunslinger without a gun would be just a regular slinger. Where’s the fun in that? Blood West makes sure you’ll have plenty of weapons to choose from. Revolvers, rifles, shotguns, carabines - a great variety of firearms, from standard army-issue to those infused with powerful magic, or straight-up possessed. And if you prefer not to cause a ruckus, there’s a wide selection of hand-to-hand combat weapons and archery weapons to pick your favorites from.
The RPG-like perk-based progression system in Blood West will allow you to highly customize the gameplay experience to your liking. Become a stealthy hunter, a revolver-fanning gunman or a relentless berserker. You will gain experience and progress through the skill tree, while discovering new artifacts in each of the scenarios that will bestow on you additional abilities. Combining skills and load-out creates more possible playstyles than you’d normally be able to explore in one playthrough.

Absolute peak kino. The older i get the fewer and fewer games out there that can hold me for more than several hours in one sitting, this one of those games. Allow for quiet significant variety of playstyles, u can even jump trough map as if it was quake. But to do that it needs understanding of ingame mechanics and items. My only issue is that when u get to the last map thats it, and the items there IS SO TASTY. As a result some builds that are endgame only, and u will not cherish them for long. Otherwise a SUPERB game. Not for everyone but i liked it very much.
Old west horror adventure where you hunt down horrors beyond your comprehension while managing a RE4 inventory and fiddling with stats and items that either kill you or make you see a zombie ghost named Alvaro. I don't think I have to sound more convincing than this

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Easily one of the most fun shooters I've played in years! Tense, immersive, and soaked in some of the coolest vibes I've seen in ages. I don't think the story or voice acting are anything to write home about, but the gameplay is outstanding. It might seem simple at first, but I think the devs have clearly spent a lot of time trimming the mechanics down to the most essential core, and then making sure that core absolutely sings. The gunplay, stealth, relatively dangerous enemies, and open levels all interweave beautifully. This game spends a lot of time testing your situational awareness - running in without an exit route can get you killed pretty fast (which I love). There's no AI director to prevent you from getting overwhelmed if you aggro too many enemies. However, if you take a little bit of time to learn the game's systems, I think you'll have an absolute blast. A few notes if you're unsure based on other reviews: - I've seen people complain about the death mechanic being too punishing. It might seem like it at first, but it really isn't. There are common items you can equip that will prevent you from gaining soul flaws on death. There are also potions you can buy to remove them, and these become pretty cheap fairly early on. - I don't think this game is hard, but it doesn't pander to the player. IMO, this is a huge strength! Every death I had in this game felt fair, and I could see how it was my fault and what I could do differently next time. Once you get comfortable with the death mechanics, they add the perfect level of tension to each outing. - This is a relatively high-precision shooter. I initially tried playing with controller, but I would not recommend it. There is no aim assist, and headshots matter a lot, so maybe sit this one out if you can't play on mouse and keyboard (though that'd be a shame because it's great!) Right, that's it from me. If you're on the fence, pick this up! It's fantastic.
its a hard review for me. because if this game would cost a little bit less. i would definetly reccomend it without a doubt. but for such a price game has so many flaws. like for compare Sulfur (pretty similar game minus stealth) cost the same (even less if count Blood west's DLC that you need for sure cause without them game have very little content) but sulfur offer much more for the same bucks. much more weapon. more maps. more everything. still blood west has it charm. and i would rather leave positive review. but definetly game very unpolished in terms of many mechanics. like for example if you didnt get any artifact or weapon in first act. there no way to get them in later. while it can be fixed so easy by adding trader of previous acts. and you gonna stumble on many such strange decisions from devs. like curse system and getting rid of curses. why second act lay more on potion thna on coins as first act?! when we already get used to it? or why enemies in second act suddenly can see you in stealth much much better than in first act. even the same mosters from first act. while you waisted so much time to level up your stealth and become stealth master of first act. suddenly in second act stealth much less usable. sad. this game could be a masterpiece.
This game is ruthless
Blood West is one of those rare games that proves atmosphere can be just as important as mechanics. It takes familiar ideas from immersive sims, survival horror, and stealth, then blends them into something that feels uniquely its own. The world is what kept pulling me back. Every abandoned homestead, forgotten mine, and cursed stretch of wilderness feels like it has a story behind it. Exploration is consistently rewarding because the game encourages you to slow down, pay attention, and think before acting. Rushing in is almost always a mistake. I also appreciate how much freedom the game gives the player. Encounters can be approached in different ways depending on your equipment and playstyle, and the systems work together naturally instead of forcing a single solution. Success feels like the result of careful planning rather than scripted design. The horror is handled with restraint. It relies on tension, isolation, and uncertainty far more than cheap scares, which makes the world feel genuinely unsettling. Combined with its distinctive art direction and excellent sound design, it creates an atmosphere that's difficult to forget. Blood West isn't trying to appeal to everyone, and I think it's better because of it. It has a clear vision, commits to it completely, and trusts the player to meet it on its own terms. Those are the kinds of games I always find myself recommending.
Great game! Tight shooting and stealth, fun weird west monster hunter fantasy Immersive Sim and light rpg elements, fun secrets and side missions, meaningful but not punishing death Love it ❤️
