Blood II: The Chosen + Expansion

It’s a nostalgic gem that’s well worth playing again! A beautiful old-school FPS, somewhat similar to Quake and Duke Nukem 3D. It features excellent levels, interesting enemies, and a fantastic, dark atmosphere with an occult theme. To get the game running properly on modern systems, you need to patch it by following the guides on the Steam community hub. If you're the type who insists on cutting-edge graphics, though, you might want to skip it. Nostalgia que viene bien jugarla de nuevo!. Un hermoso FPS de la vieja escuela, algo parecido a Quake y Duke Nukem 3D. Cuenta con escenarios excelentes, enemigos interesantes y una atmósfera oscura y genial de temática oculta. Al juego para que funcione bien en sistemas modernos hay que patchearlo siguiendo las guias de la comunidad de Steam. Review : Blood II The Chosen ภาคต่อที่น่าผิดหวังที่สุดของ Blood!!! ผมถอนหายใจเป็นสิบๆรอบที่ได้เล่นเกมนี้.. นี่เรียกได้ว่าเป็นหนึ่งในภาคต่อของเกมในตำนานที่ล้มเหลวที่สุด!! โดยภาคนี้เปลี่ยนบรรยากาศจาก Gothic Horror ที่มีแต่โบสถ์สุสานหรือสถานที่ลึกลับกลางป่า มาเป็นตีมแบบ Cyberpunk อีหยั่งว่ะ!!! และแน่นอนว่าพระเอกหน้าเก่าของเราก็ตามมาด้วยเช่นกัน ตัวละครภาคนี้เราจะสามารถเลือกเล่นได้อีก 3 ตัวละคร เกมเพลย์ของ Blood 2 คือ ความเร็วและความโหด ข้อนี้ยังทำได้ดีแต่ไม่รู้ทำไม ผมไม่รู้สึกสนุกไปกับมันเลย อาวุธในเกมไม่มีอิมแพคพอให้เรารู้สึกได้ด้วยซ้ำ อาวุธในเกมส่วนใหญ่มีบางชิ้นที่นำกลับมาจากภาคแรก.. Level Design ที่เคยทำได้ดีในภาคแรก ภาคนี้ลืมไปซะ บางด่านออกแบบได้งงมาก ถึงแม้จะมีตารางภารกิจบอกให้เราไปทำอะไร แต่ด้วยแมพในเกมที่ชวนงง ทำให้ผู้เล่นหลงทางได้บ่อย และมีทางเดินที่ซ้ำกันจนน่าเบื่อ.. และสิ่งที่แย่มากๆของเกมนี้เลยคือ Bugs อันมหาศาล เยอะแบบเยอะอ่ะ ทั้ง Ai เอ๋อ ตัวละครติดกำแพง ฯลฯ สรุป Blood 2 คือเกมภาคต่อที่น่าผิดหวังมากๆ มันคือเกมที่รีบทำจนเกินไป ทั้งเกมมีแต่ความไม่สมบูรณ์ หากใครหาเกมเก่าๆมาย้อนวันวานเล่น ผมขอให้มองข้ามเกมนี้ไปไกลๆเลย มันไม่น่าเล่นขนาดนั้น!! Blood II: The Chosen is a mixed experience — especially when compared to its legendary predecessor. After the brilliance of the original Blood, Blood II feels rougher and far less focused. The atmosphere and level design are inconsistent, the combat isn’t as tight, and the game never quite reaches the same level of polish or impact as Blood 1. You can clearly feel that it struggled during development. That said, it’s not a terrible game. There are some interesting ideas, a darker tone, and moments that hint at what it could have been. If you approach it with adjusted expectations, it can still be enjoyable in parts. For Blood fans, it’s worth playing at least once — if only to see how the series continued and where it went. Just don’t expect the same magic that made the original a classic. Decent, flawed, and very much for fans only.

I refuse to believe this game is actually even real. Whenever you try to click around the options for the launcher, it feels like it tells you that it will blow up your computer
